The house we really wanted got sold before we could get it (it's not the one I told you about [livejournal.com profile] aliterati). It was totally perfect, an 1890 rowhouse with two stories, three bedrooms, a cute yard, a fireplace, and painted walls. Suffice it to say, I am grumpy. Very grumpy. I wanted that place, dammit. I want to hit something, actually. We just saw it this Saturday too.

To distract self, I went trolling for Veronica Mars S3 spoilers.

I know I have some extreme spoilerphobes on my flist, so just a heads-up that my 'mood' is not related to spoilers one way or another and is all on behalf of the house we didn't get.

As for what to expect in Season 3, Thomas reveals that Logan and Veronica will
be together at the beginning of the season and all the remaining strands of
Season Two will be wrapped up in the first two episodes. Veronica and her
friends will also be heading off to college which opens the door for a whole new
palette of storytelling.

"Veronica is going to still be living at home, and the detective agency will still be open,"
says Thomas. "And we will see Charisma Carpenter right away in the series. I don't want
to give away a lot more than that, but Charisma Carpenter will be in the show at least once."

EEEEE!!!!! We don't get just L/V flashbacks this time!!!! EEEEEE! OMG! Stable relationship!!!! You have no idea on the giddy!

Lewis Black will probably be guesting on the show as a college professor who
does experiments regarding prisoner abuse. Logan and Wallace, who are taking the
class, take part in the experiments because their other option is to write a
long essay, and they don't want to do that.

In episode three, we'll see Weevil again, he'll just have gotten out of prison,
but not for what he did to the guy who died in the stadium blast. He's working
at a car wash as a mandated post-prison job and he eventually loses his job and
he needs Veronica's help. And not surprisingly, he ends up with a job a Hearst.

They're trying to get Patty Hearst, who said she loves the show, on "Veronica
Mars" as – get this – a board member at Hearst College. And I don't know if
Thomas was joking or not, but he said they'd actually discussed a story idea –
what if Hearst got kidnapped?

The first ongoing-mystery arc is about the rapist at Hearst College. In the
second episode of the season, one of the girls who was raped, it turns out the
night she was raped she went to a sorority rush party. So Veronica goes
undercover during sorority rush. "So we'll still have situations where she'll
feel out of place."

The second mystery was largely inspired by Steven Soderbergh's "Bubble." "All
the creative energy [for that movie] felt like it went into the setup and
motives," Thomas said. "The nice thing is, the second mystery, we've got these
first nine episodes to lay in" the groundwork of what happens in arc two.

What is "Bubble" about? Also, how sad is that I read 'prisoner abuse' and the first thing that popped into my head was LOGAN ANGST!!
