dangermousieWhile going home with Husband on the metro tonight, he leaned over and went "look, look, look over there."
I looked a few seats down and saw a man, sitting calmly, with a life-size Cross Punisher that was an identical replica of the one Wolfwood has in Trigun. Size, straps, everything. The thing was huuuuge, taller than he was (see icon). I didn't know if there was a cos-playing convention or what in town, but until we got off I kept staring. I so wanted to go over and ask him if his cross was so heavy because it was full of mercy :)
The best part? 99% of the people on that train have probably never heard of Trigun and most likely thought he was a crazy fundamentalist Christian nutter that we get in town really often.
Made my and Husband's day.
