I just went and read translations for scenes in ep 15 of Snow Queen (the show ends on 16) and frell. Frell. I am crying just reading them. Dammit. Especially the bit where she says she doesn't want to die because she doesn't want to leave him alone again. Frell. Yes, yes, yes so right. Because he is horribly isolated and dwelling and guilt and I am getting A Love to Kill feeling only worse, because there at least they decided they couldn't be together: the obstacle was in themselves.

SQ, how can you be sooooo good?

I demand a happy ending!

Barring that, because it's a kdrama and I am a realist, I demand an official DVD with subs :D

I think this is why I looooove Tae Woong - he is like a kid inside, really clean and has an amazing capacity for being happy. I would totally wouch that he will be happy, otherwise all the clues they gave us, of "building of one's future" and all the rest will be useless. If he dies, the whole drama will take a different meaning. I rather guess his fall is some dream-thing. I could be wrong, of course, I am forever optimist.

I can't wait when you and Tarja reach episodes 7 and 8. They are TO DIE for. I want to read what you say about it all. :D

And being unhappy. You are right, he really is like a kid: he maintains this startling immediacy of emotions that most of us lose really early on. Maybe that is why his losses hit him so hard, but it also gives him this purity.

But then, he is a grown-up too and...eeeeeeee.

I better stop before I lose coherency.

I very much suspected it would end unhappily and would have major angst in it , but GUH! the looks and the relationship between B-R and T-W make it all worthwile (and I have only seen a little over 5 episodes at this point). There's also the prelude in Ep.1 that doesn't suggest T-W will lead that happy a life after Bo-Ra dies :P.

IIRC, the final episode is going to be aired tonight, so the discussion boads should be soon full of news on it's endng :).

But I'm definitely loving this dorama however it ends and will buy the DVD as soon as an English subtitled version is available.

But then, even if not, only Silence was too angsty for me to really watch fully, and I do plan to finish it, and importantly, protagonists didn't get to spend any time together at all in that one, or almost none.

One of my main beefs against Silence was the miniscule time that ShenShen and WeiYi got to be together without major angsting.

Even thougjh I complained about how unbearable it was throughout the series, I'm now thinking that i might actually buy it on DVD if an English subbed version ever becomes available...

That seller seems to have several copies of the DVD set available, so I think I'll wait until you get yours before buying it so that you can tell me whether the subs and the dvd set in general are any good :).
