Dark Angel: sexy angst

dangermousieSince I can only take One Tree Hill in very small dozes before I get brain rot, I decided to watch one of the other things I rented: first episode of the Second Season of Dark Angel. I would have preferred to start with the first season, but they didn't have it.
Dark Angel is a scifi show about a genetically mutated perfect soldier Max (Jessica Alba) who goes rogue and takes on the Establishment. Everything that I like is there: women who kick ass, dystopia with government conspiracies, doomed and impossible love affair (Max and her OTP can't even touch), angst and lots of leather. So yeah, it has potential. Of course, in comparison with One Tree Hill, anything will appeal.
So far I am about 10 minutes in and I like it. Is it good? No idea yet. But I certainly think it's interesting (I wonder if Max and Aeryn could bond :P) and "Eyes Only" is uber hot, especially when he is stroking the computer screen with Alba's image on it.
