Loved it. Much better than last week's.

Here are my thoughts:

Yay for continuity! We see Backup and Mandy the Dog Girl. I thought it was interesting that Mandy nommed Veronica for Homecoming. Basically all the havenots and outcasts V did favors for are returning the favor (reminds me of Buffy getting the Class Protector award in S3). And of course, how realistic that she didn't win. Also loved Duncan nommed. Good to see reminders of the fact that he really is popular and loved and Logan of the sharp tongue really isn't.

Jackie is officially a bitch. "Bye Veronica?" what the hell? Also, I realized she organized the credit card thing as a smackdown really early. She is also flirting with Logan (who is definitely flirting back. I wonder if it's because he knows V dislikes her? I also loved that Logan insulted V a bit but when Jackie did, he snapped at her that she wasn't nommed either. So Logan). And then both of them at the dance? Logan smashed and Jackie drugged? I did love her telling V to already pick who she wants because that's how I feel. For Veronica, I am sure part of it was protecting Wallace (who she did try to be a good friend to, and even gave up the tape plan, but for the girl the road to hell is paved with good intentions), and part because she really has feelings for Logan. Basically, neither of the two could have picked a partner who would have driven her mad more. Of course, Jackie loves hitting the pills. Big surprise. Is Logan hitting on her because of Mommy resemblance?

Jackie publically humiliating V with the psychic? Did I mention the "die bitch" part? Because bringing up Lilly and Logan (and my jaw just dropped, and I yelled "The Hell?" at the TV) is so below the belt when all V tried to do was help her and lowered her guard. And the cream thing? Hate hate hate the girl.

I loved Logan-Duncan interaction this week. They are rebuilding their friendship. And how much did I love that Duncan was the one to make the first move to mend fences. It's a really big thing for him (and of course the move was in his court, but still). JD and TD have really good chemistry and I never like Duncan more than when he is interacting with Logan. Though what's with the emancipated bit? Logan I'd buy, but why would Duncan be emancipated? I do like seeing Logan rebuild his life, somewhat.

You know, I actually really liked Duncan in this ep. I even thought D/V were cute together, when they were making out in his hotel room, and when he picked her up, and at the dance (and how did I love that RT did not show who won the Homecoming at all. So many other shows would, but it's not important here, so he doesn't). Duncan was sweet and funny and there was nice chemistry between them. He was acting like a real boy :P But once again, with Veronica's "brains/looks" convo, I get a very odd gender reversal vibe from them.

And yeah, Keith definitely likes Duncan. Just compare how he interacts with Duncan versus his interactions with Troy and Logan.

Also, Lamb is "the exterminator?" Heeee.

The thing with Wallace's Dad is shaping up interestingly. I am sure Alicia is right in what she thought but it's clearly not the whole truth. Also, Keith and Alicia implode. Makes sense. Wallace's little breakdown at Veronica has been a long time coming and it's not really that much about Jackie. I think his going with his father is way overreacting though.

And the explosion on the bus thing: the mystery thickens. I did like that Lamb seems to want to investigate it, and that Keith took the bug from his desk. Can I see an uneasy truce in their future?
