Because OMG S1 was the fluffiest, angstiest, shippiest thing ever. I love L/V but they are a lot more dysfunctional and (though as a shipper I'd hate it), I can see them go on and leave competent lives separately. I can't see Max and Liz apart.

The Bollywood Powers That Be have got it into their heads that they should make a movie based on a popular anime. What anime would you want them to use, and who would you want cast in each of the major roles?

Oh gosh. So hard.

I'd say Fushigi Yuugi is already Bollywood: love triangles, family loyalty, heroics and sacrifice. But it would be so bloody hard to cast. We'll also have to pretend they are all much older...

Miaka: Priyanka. Can do ditsy and angsty. I'd rather have someone like younger Kajol but can't imagine her with John, Arjun et al. Maybe if we were making a version 10 years ago, I'd have Ajay as Hotohori and SRK as Tamahome with Kadz just to create buzz :P

Tamahome: John. Hot and angsty and intense and bad boyish. Yum. OK, are my biases showing? :P

Hotohori: Arjun. Bloody gorgeous and looks good angsty over women

Nuriko: No idea. There are no femmy guy actors in BW.

Nakago: Bad guy. Hot bad guy. Awww, hell. Why don't me make a trifecta of hotness and cast Hrithik. (OK, John/Hrithik kiss? :P Brain does not compute).

Eric Kripke decides that Dean Winchester must have a romantic relationship this season (WITH SOMEONE OTHER THAN SAM, God) and he hires *you* to create the new recurring character who will hook up with him. Who is she? How would you drop her into the Winchesters' world? What's Dean's first impression of her? Would you give her another purpose on the show apart from love interest? How long do you build their relationship before they get together?

Someone who will work with them occasionally (as a source or whatever). Heck, she might even sleep with Dean and neither of them think it's a big deal, just fun. And the emotions won't kick in for a while, maybe with getting to know each other better and be a bit of a surprise for both. And then very slowly it might get into something more. But she should certainly have something else to do.

Supernatural, Veronica Mars and Buffy. Just imagine the craziness. Dean and Sam run into vampires and are temporarily allied with Faith and/or Buffy. Those murders (by vampires) get Veronica involved and...voila!

Or how about Firefly/BSG/Farscape. Will be crazy. Aeryn would go commando on Kara's ass :P

Ohhhh, this is so hard. Especially since I watch relatively little American TV.

Trigun:
Vash: Ben Browder. Because he does goofy AND tortured so well. And crichton reminds me of Vash (or vice-versa)
Wolfwood: Nathan Fillion. I dunno why as the only preacher he played was a psycho one.
Milly: Jewel Straite (Kaylee on Firefly). She is kinda Millyish there already. Though would it give me Mal/Kaylee thing which is wrooooong?
Meryl: Sarah Michelle Gellar if she gained some weight. She can do vulnerable and loud and tough...

Hana Kimi. Hmmm. Even tougher
Sano: Jensen Ackles. Certainly eye candy and can do intense and sweet and scary.
Mizuki: Haaaaard. Winona Ryder if muuuuch younger.
Nakatsu: The guy who played Xander on Buffy when he was younger and skinnier.
Nanba: David Boreanaz, younger version, because it would really amuse me.
