OMG.

My Mongryong love is now psycho-level.

Because he sees Chun-Hyang at the party with the other guy and he thinks she cancelled their plans because of that and he is all jealous and stares at her SO intently and then OMG there is some kind of emergency and she is about to be crushed by a huge falling thing and he jumps in and saves her covering her with his own body and OMG it's dark and she thinks it's the other guy so he just quietly walks off (and I love how he is so always paying attention where she is) and then OMG she sees the button in her hand and realizes it's his.

LOVE.

And she comes home and he is on her roof and OMG OMG he was going to leave some medicine for her blisters (because he was angrily commenting on her uncomfortable fancy shoes earlier and OMG he so notices) and they are totally adorable together and then she thinks she lost the really expensive necklace the other guy gave her and can't find it, so he pawns his father' sword (even though his father will kill him) to buy her that necklace and he pretends he found it and gives it to her because he doesn't want her to worry and OMG...OMG...OMG...OMG.

Mongryong, I love you.

See?! Choon-Hyang is LOVE. I have no sympathy at all for the love rivals (but hey, not everyone can be Seo Jeong-Woo, right?) and I adore that these actors are able to successfully pull off the characters for the course of the entire series. I mean, they go from playing teenagers to adults in the whole thing, and it's totally believable. Lee Mong-Ryong kind of walks the line between the "I'm immature and whiny but I have potential" hero and the "I'm normal and fun and don't have any major issues" hero, and I love it.

Yeah, Mong-Ryong is rather issue free and awesome. I am really fed up with the rivals though and we are only 7 eps in. I am in 'just hook up already' mode...
