I found this promo pic from Hana Yori Dango 2 and OMG, I don't know what they did, but they fixed the hair!!! YAY! (either that or I finally got used to it. :P) And I approve of the jacket (his. It's hard to screw up her uniform). Credit to tenjostyle at hanayoridango.

I feel a mad urge to rewatch Hana Yori Dango now. I think it may say something disturbing about myself that I adore Domyouji (Dao Ming Si in Meteor Garden), considering he is rude, elitist, has to learn to interact with people and learn consideration, with a violence problem, and has a family from hell.

It must be all that awesome self-sacrifice, determination, and capacity for love. Or I got a screw loose.

Funny, I was just reading Jun talking about the start of filming in his jweb entry the other day. Thanks for the pic! The hair is quite a relief for me, as you know. I've been so traumatised by that crazy manga hair. ;)

I find MatsuJun's Domyouji hair much less objectionable than the ten-inch long extensions he was rocking on Utawara a few weeks back. Also, the jacket is really cool--I think I might actually wear it myself!

I plan to watch the first Hana Yori Dango over Thanksgiving break, while I'm recovering from a dentist appointment that I'm not looking forward to. It had better keep me in good spirits!

I'm so incredibly psyched for the HYD 2, I can't even express it in words... It's the dorama that started it all for me, less than a year ago, and was the first in a long line of obsessions! Can't wait!! And the hair looks SO much better!

I can't wait for HYD 2, esp since the entire original cast signed on! Plus there's the anticipation of the story, since the ended the first season the way the manga ended, so I'm assuming there'll be original twists ahead.

And you're not alone. In adoring Domyouji, I mean. Sure he's rude and elitist and all that, but there's something that's so undeniably charming about his character that you can't help but love him. God knows I do. Heh. ♥

The thing with the manga/drama, it did ed in roughly the same place but they did skip a lot, so I think they can go back and do that stuff (as in the manga it's obvious about halfway through that she likes him and then evil Mom interferes blah blah blah).

Eventhough I wasn't so much into HYD1, I think I'll still watch HYD2. And yeah, hair style is a little better now, though still too much hairspray for my liking (*_*)

I am used to horrific hair so I am just relieved at the degree of horrificalness being less.

I liked HYD1 a lot. Not as much as Meteor Garden, but then there aren't as many things I can say that about...
