It's 109 degrees here (that's 43 degrees Celsius, for those who don't use Farenheit), I think I have heat exhaustion so I have no energy for anything, drama-watching or posting included and ep 10 of Bridal Mask, as well as my ginormous post on this week's eps will have to wait until tomorrow. Apologies.

Still, no weather is too hot to discuss Kang To's magnificent hairstyles, which really should be given separate billing.

So, as to refresh:

Emo Fringe - Kang To has this hairdo when he's the angsty, angry servant to the Japanese. The hair reflects his intensity and conflict and also his solace in a great haircut.

Flashback Hair - The simple short haircut is great for simple but not-so-short Kang To before he got tangled with the Japanese.

Slicked-back hair - drama characters tend to mark monumental events by hair changes, and our Kang To is no different. After losing his family and deciding to become Bridal Mask, he commemorates the event by this snazzy hairdo. Plus, the purists can now relax about his hair and complain about his tight pants. Hmmm, let me contemplate those pants very very closely...

Put some wave in it - at this stage of the story, Kang To's feelings and roles are incredibly complex and so is this hairdo. The hairdresser must have spent quite a time on it, just to provide sexy sexy symbolism to the audience.
