dangermousieWhy doesn't the heroine ever react by grabbing a giant knife and telling the hero as she's stabbing him "OK, freakshow, I am done being unselfish for everyone's sake. Let's see how well you torment me and my loved ones from the morgue?"
Probably because she has no standards "You treat me quite well, you never hit me" is what she drunkenly tells the hero.

Well, at least she calls him a psycho, that's something.
Also, I am incredibly amused that the only time he can show he loves her is when she's drunk or unconscious. I mean, carrying, smoochies, handholding and yearning gaze are better when the recipient is conscious. Yo, freakshow, perhaps she might like you better if you took her out on dates and treated her well, instead of insulting and playing mindgames with her. Just saying!
