Is it hot in here, or is it just me?
I planned to check KKLY out when it first aired because I am a huge fan of Dylan Kuo ever since The Outsiders and because the storyline (wounded cold girl, her sweet-natured first love etc etc) sounded pretty up my alley. But then I followed the whole Ming Dao (who played secondary guy) drama on AF and that particular storyline and his insane fangirls (OMG! He almost raped her! It's romantic because it's her fault for not wanting to marry him after blackmail but liking her original bf!) put me off anything KKLY-related for life (or so I thought). Especially since they seemed dead-set that at the end heroine was going to pick wannabe rapist.
BUT. The drama ended and she did not pick scumbag but instead ended up with her original, non-rapey love, reaffirming my faith in the writers not being sociopaths or insane. (Ahhh, the fangirls' tears and rage were sweeeeeeet). So that problem is solved. Now, all I need to do is just skip all Ming Dao parts (an easy feat as to say I am not a fan is an understatement) and I am set for some shippy fun and angst with sexy sexy Dylan Kuo.
