Habemus Papam!

I finally got a chance to watch the Borgias pilot and was blown away. Yes, there are liberties taken with history (of course), but it is well-acted (Jeremy Irons, especially, is amazing), smartly-written, and with characters I find really intriguing (even if none of them are good people).



I cannot recommend it highly enough. It joins Boardwalk Empire and Sons of Anarchy on my very very small list of American shows I follow (interestingly, all three center around mob or mob-like families and organizations. hmmm).
