So, I was browsing for spoilers and found out the truth about Duan Yu's parentage and LOLOL forever.

Let's do a cost-benefit analysis.

Minus: entire family gruesomely murdered.
Plus: will now be Emperor.

Minus: father is not cool, if slutty, Emperor, but legless, faceless (but apprently not penisless) creepy villain.
Plus: villain unlikely to have gotten out much thus do not have to worry next pretty girl he meets is haf-sis. Of more immediate benefit - can now hook up with OTP without angst about incest.

So, a draw?

Oh, wait, there is also the fact that this means that the time creepy villain locked him and Miss Mu together and fed them aphrodisiac, did not commit unwilling incestuous make-out. So, overall win?

But. Wait again, this also means had his own father feed him aphrodisiac in hopes of watching him have sex? Ok, that's going into beyond creepy territory again.
