Yup, still about Veronica Mars ep 3.01



1. After two seasons, it's the first ep that Logan and Veronica both start and end as a couple. Quite a track record. Let's see if they can make it to *gasp* two!!!

2. Nice to know that when Logan packed for college, he took his issues with him.

3. Kendall, haven't you watched all of those Lifetime movies? The ex-con who should be redeemed by the love of a good woman is always no good.

4. Yeah, I get it, giving Piz Duncan's clothes is maybe a hint Piz is Duncanlike or will have Duncan role or whatever. But hello, where did Veronica get them? Regardless of whether she loved Duncan or not (not opening that can of worms), can you picture V having a bunch of ex's clothes in her closet, periodically taking them out to sniff if they smell like him? Me neither. Or did Logan keep them? And were they in a little shrine or on a voodoo doll?

5. Parker. Shut the hell up. If I roomed with you, I'd be slipping you cyanide.

6. Piz. Let's start with the name. I get that RT named him after a friend or co-worker. But what, he has no friends named Bob or Mike? Moreover, he reminds me of a puppy and is probably a cool guy to date. For a normal co-ed. Veronica would eat him for breakfast.

7. Nice to see that even in the depths of his despair, Dick didn't forget to take care of his hair.

8. The conceit that no one knows who Veronica is is getting thinner and thinner. Come on. Criminology prof. In Neptune. Won't know who she is? Or the rest of the students?

9. Logan. Can I borrow your back on weekends? I promise to return it in tip top shape. Licked clean.

10. Piz again. If Veronica gave Piz Duncan's vest, does it mean she gave Piz Duncan's pants? So does it mean Piz has been in Duncan's pants? Well, I guess better than in Veronica's.

I'd qualify LoVe as "together but sneaky" for several eps in season 1.

Logan probably never bothered cleaning Duncan's clothes out of the closet.

Nope. Not together at the beginning of 18.

Only decide to date (as opposed to a one off kiss) at the end of 19.

At end of 20 she thinks he is a rapist so ditch.

At end of 21 she thinks he is a murderer, so ditch.

At beginning of 22 not together...

Well...if he was...he wouldn't be there by choice with the meany who wrecked his grandma's dreams. But Lamb...has no principles. *kicks the meanie who she liked until he was sullying himself with the Evil Blonde*

I like Weevil. Liked him much better in S1 but that's true for almost everyone. Just don't have a huge interest in him...

Aye, they were all better in season 1, even Duncan. Well...Wallace and Keith love is equal, for me.

In S1, Weevil and Veronica had a great "you scratch my back, i'll scratch yours" dynamic. It's stil there in S2, but not as much. But that look at the end of S2 was, to me, a fair bit of "He's doing it this way because I'm your friend." "I know." "Get. Me. Out." (or a variation thereof)

It's one of those fiction things that cracks me up in every single show/movie I've seen. Sort of

Hmmm... I think I'm going to give Piz a chance although, despite RT's comments on Piz as a potential love interest, I don't think he'll be a serious contender.

Re: Duncan's clothes, maybe the Kanes didn't clear out Duncan's things from the hotel?

I've given up on this ever making sense. In any right universe she and Logan would be a pretty infamous local couple. People on campus would be whispering, "Dude, that's Aaron Echolls' son and the sheriff's daughter! Man, I really hope those two crazy kids make it work." Maybe not the last part. But it seems they've both had enough publicity for them to recognizable. Logan at least should be.

Exactly. It just seems completely bizarre. Oh well, I guess it's like Buffy's inexhaustible closet which she'd never get on a student's allowance :P
