I so NEED all epsisodes of both.

Yesterday.

And OMG, Samurai Champloo gets here next week.

Not to mention Basilisk.

And I still have Gungrave.

Sigh, I can't *wait* for Veronica Mars. I'm soooo curious whether their rating situation will change now that they are on the CW. And biting my nails about how they will handle the college situation. And dead curious about the continuation of the college rapist storyline.

I think the college rapist episode was the only thing in Season 2(aside from donut turning Veronica into a stereotype blonde any any scenes they were together in)

It was like the rape(Veronica's and the college girls') was less important than knowing...uhm...whathisname...wasn't complete scum. And, frankly, rape isn't something I'd ever expect from him, anyway. Like...other rapists in the show...no problem believing it of them when or before it was revealed. Him? They ever say he's a rapist and I'll be all "WTF???"

He may be unworthy and mostly scum, but there are different kinds of scum, and telling us he's not like that shouldn't have been more important than a serial rapist.

Yeah...it's just...I wish the rapist had been portrayed as more important in s2. "Look, he's not scum anymore, so don't be surprised when he pops up a few times next season" seemed to be the message of the episode, which annoyed me

Also, did you know there's a live action movie for Basilisk? It's called Shinobi and stars Nakama Yukie(and will be here monday...which is technically tomorrow...)

I've heard of Shinobi but didn't want to watch it until I saw the anime...

I think I'll start watching Bleach and then maybe look at the manga. I am the lame person who prefers anime to manga :)

It depends, for me. Sometimes I prefer one to the other, and sometimes I like them equally. It's rare, though, that they're ever exactly alike.

Yay Bleach~~ Though I do tend to prefer the manga myself; the art starts out a little worse, but later on gets better than the animation, IMO, and art style tends to be a big thing with me. Also, I don't much care for fillers. 6_6 Which is what happened to Bleach after it caught up with the manga. Though I hear they're going to stop the fillers soon and pick up the story again.

Bleach is awesome. When I saw it, I was all "Wow, an anime where I can like the girl characters! What is this?!". It is about the only anime I've ever followed (though I dropped out on the filler plot around episode 63 or something - oh well, when the "real" story kicks back in, I'll start watching again).

I wish I could've followed the manga beccause the Bleach anime can have some REALLY shittily dawn episodes. Or not full episodes but some sequences, you're like "How can they hire people this bad?". But I think the general good plotness and characters wins out in the end, so I didn't really mind it too much.
