And I prove my insanity

I had to pause Gloria because I literally burst into tears like an idiot and am sitting here typing while sniffling.
Kang Suk got Jin Jin roses, you guys.
You have no idea.
I don't mean he bought them for her as a romantic gesture, no, he knew she was going to her nightclub gig afterwards and she always runs out and buys roses before the gig so her handicapped older sister can sell them, and so he went and bought them, pre-wrapped, for her, so she wouldn't have to go buy them, and then came back where she was working late at another job and offered her a ride and then gave those to her.
And so I am totally sniffling like an utter moron. But! But! It got me because it wasn't a pretty but ultimately useless romantic gesture which giving her a bouquet would have been. No, instead it's such an unexpectedly thoughtful, caring, perfect thing to do.
And I am an idiot. So there.
But but but but...he shows his caring by things like this and having a water heater installed in her place so she won't have to worry about scalding her sister while bathing her and sharing a take-out order with her because the delivery place won't send only one order up and and and - I don't know. They are all practical important things and guuuuuuh. And this is before they are dating or he expressed any open interest in her or anything.
Also, how come this drama has the best conversations? My latest favorite is this one between Jin Jin and Kang Suk from ep 20.
JJ: But, President...
KS: What?
JJ: Why don't you ever eat with your employees? It seems that you always eat alone. And the employees find it hard that you do that.
KS: I don't eat with other people very often.
JJ: Why not?
KS: Because in our house, no one speaks when we eat.
JJ: Excuse me? When you eat, no one says a word?
KS: Yeah. We just eat.
JJ: But what does that have to do with eating with your employees?
KS: Because I don't really know how to talk during a meal. So, I'm uncomfortable eating with others.
JJ: When you eat with me, you talk perfectly well. You didn't know? That's a rather dazed expression.
KS: That's because you're an easy target, and I can say whatever I feel like saying, comfortably.
JJ: Tch. I get it. Enjoy your jjajangmyun with the "easy target".
KS: Well, that's not exactly it. Hey, frankly, you're the type who says whatever you feel, too. Therefore, when I'm with you, I don't have to wonder what I should say. So, I'm saying that it's comfortable.
JJ: Even if you make a long excuse, you've already hurt my feelings.
KS: I'm speaking sincerely, and you're intentionally misinterpreting me?
JJ: And, what's that about? I just said that to tease you.
KS: You just call me "President", "President", but you seem to have a habit of toying with me.
JJ: You must have been really lonely. In my house, even though we're all strangers gathered together, whenever we eat, there's so much chatter. It's enough to make your ears hurt. Isn't that the fun in living? But when I hear you live without that, and so you feel awkward eating with others, it breaks my heart.
KS: Why do you talk so much when you eat?
JJ: I'm telling you, it's a habit because of how I live.
Have a Ji Jin/Kang Suk MV. It's not super crisp, video-quality-wise, but the clips are awesome.
ETA: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! She just (a) guessed he was going to the fight club (b) told him while she understands why he likes to go, she wishes he wouldn't. And when he asked why, she said "because you get hurt." Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! His face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
OK, I need to be on some sort of medication.
