Best kiss ever

Ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod. My jaw just dropped and I literally screamed at the screen because I couldn't believe that what was happening was happening.

We have the winner for the best dorama kiss ever. Hell, best TV kiss ever.

I am literally needing to pause the show so as to be able to concentrate on anything other than screaming and freaking out the neighbors.



Because he gets her to go inside the aquarium tank with her in scuba gear (and I could talk all about how symbolic it is because she can never go swimming but with him she can both overcome her fear and also he can go around her fear of swimming to get the ocean to her through diving instead) and I bet at least a huge chunk of the reason is because that way she holds his arm tightly the whole way and then there is a little slat with characters that say 'Ken, happy birthday' and as she stops staring at it, he fishes a pendant out of a pouch and fastens it around her neck and as she looks at it with this amazed, starry look in her eyes, he swims a bit closer and removes his respirator and then he takes her arms and puts them close to him and then he removes her respirator and then he lets her hands go and removes his goggles and at that point I am scooting to the edge of the sofa going 'no way, they are not going to have them do what I think they will,' and literally yelping. But apparently they will, as she removes her goggles as he holds her arms (and I love that this time she is making the moves as well, it's such a huge deal for her, but she is showing she wants it just as much), and then he leans in for a kiss and their arms go around each other and it's a hell of a kiss and their bodies are basically melded together and you see the double image of both them under water and their reflection through glass and their arms are tight around each other and they are UNDERWATER and I am dead. Thank you. D-e-a-d.

Ahem. I rewatched this scene four times.

People who think doramas don't have good kisses HAVE to see this one. Simply MUST.

I was watching this on youtube this evening but the person ran out of subtitled episodes so I stopped at around episode 11 or thereabouts. I admit I was fast forwarding through the boring bits. Must resist the urge to download... Must resist... Must go to sleep it's after 3am.

Well, it's near the beginning of ep 13 (and ep 13 gets even better from there), so you can just watch that bit *devil perched on oe shoulder*

I have managed to avoid watching "Love Contract" for the longest time because everyone told me the ending was absolutely horrible and would, in my friend's words, "negate the previous excellence of the entire series with a giant wave of suckiness".

It was very hard to resist for so long because Mike He is just so much prettier in it than he was in DBY, but I was always hung up on how awful the ending supposedly was. But now I am intrigued--to watch or not to watch?

You should watch! It's gorgeous and romantic and you can ff past boring friends bits. I watched the ending beforehand and it didn't bother me one bit (but then I have my own view of what happened there as it's open to interpretation and mine is a conventional HEA).
