My wish list for BSG season two

Behind the cut as it necessarily implies S1 spoilers


1. Let Starbuck screw up. She's been Miss "Can do everything." It would be good to see her fail for a change. Yes, I know she is a personal mess. I am talking about her "professional" accomplishments. Also, more Starbuck backstory.

2. More on Ellen Tigh and Tom Zarek. I am in the minority that adores them. Yeah, they are horrible people. But as characters I find them fascinating.

3. Lee facing some lasting brouhaha over his mutiny attempt. Mistrusted and with pending court martial. But still being kept around to fly etc because they need him. Also, give the man more to do. He was absent or near it from 3 eps last season. (Shallow, me?)

4. More Adama-Lee interaction (not that they haven't been doing a good job so far). I am dying to see how mutiny would affect their already strained relationship.

5. Helo, Boomer 2 and Starbuck getting back to Galactica really early in the season. I don't care for the Caprica storyline and it seems to be draining more and more cast, it. Also, Helo deserves off. Plus, we can't have K/L UST if they are on separate planets.

6. Get the crashed crew from Kobol back on the Galactica pronto. Once again, everyone off by themselves limits interactions.

7. Keep around both Boomers. Storyline angst is limitless.

8. Take the K/L stuff further. No, I don't want them to confess twu wuv and have babies. I revel in their screwed up UST. But don't drop it like a hot potato (i.e. get Starbuck off the damn planet).

9. Someone finding out re: Baltar. He's been acting nuttier and nuttier. Surely someone is bound to notice.

10. Humans figuring out what the Cylon deal is and turning tables on them, at least a bit.

I know. Some people don't like Boomer (either of them) but I find her(them?) fascinating. Plus, there aren't that many ships more messed up that Helo/Boomer and Boomer/Tyrol.

Mmmmm. I love the bit in KLG where he visits Boomer in sick bay. They both hurt so much and care for each other so much, and hurt each other. It's perfect. But yeah, after KLG2, when he gets back on the Galactica and finds out what happened? Owwww.

I've yet to read anything official about it, but the common theory amongst the fans is that he was likely absent for the birth of his twins.

I love how in Ep 9 you think Ellen is just a drunk unstable bimbo. But then in Colonial Day you learn that this kind of behavior actually covers a Lady macbeth. And no one realizes it.
