Lazy rainy Saturdays. Bring on the doramas...

I've gone from user to pusher to dealer. I've started uploading Silence at jdramas. What next? I see myself handing out leaflets exerting virtues of doramas on street corners.

Speaking of doramas, does anyone have any inkling how likely it is that Jerry Yan's new dorama The Hospital (or White Towers or whatever its name is in English) will get subbed? I really want to watch it and don't really mind watching it unsubbed, but I'd muster more motivation if I knew it would get subbed or alternately not get my hopes up and just watch interesting to me bits. Basically, I'd go in with a different 'tude. In case you are wondering what I am blabbing about, here is a youtube link to the trailer with English subs

It looks angsty and hot and I watched the credits and there is a hell of a lot of making out, so I am in. Plus, Jerry Yan is VERY fanciable.

Also, for future reference. Egg custard? Wonderful. Eel, shrimp, and fishcake? Also great. Combining the two into soup? A good diet plan. I am still faintly horrified, days after. Memo to self: be more careful what you order in restaurants. If it looks like a bad idea, it probably is.

And I have an anti-recommendation: never watch 'Heaven's Wedding Gown.' I got through 15 minutes (not precisely a fair judgment time, but hey). The subs! The 'acting.' The whole horrifical 'recorded on my friends camcorder' look! How can you sub English so that it is totally different from what they are saying on screen?

Heeeee. I wasn't planning but thanks for the warning. I guess they can't help the rest of it, but the subs are not the show's fault. :) I have to warn you that if you get official boxes of either Goong or It started with a kiss or A love to kill that also has Chinese and not Japanese subs, they are..not good is to put it kindly. Very kindly.

I found a really good source for purchasing stuff that's not ebay though, and with good subs, if you want it...
