dangermousieI have realized something - Yang Clan is basically a family drama (think those Korean weekend hits) only period, and with swords.
I love the family dynamics, all of them, from Yang Papa being hard on 6th Brother (when he shouldn't be all the time - it may not be fair, but it seems real, just as 6th Bro's attempt to win his esteem), to the Yang Mama and Yang Papa's marriage, to 8th Sister and 6th Brother dynamic.
And speaking of 8th Sister. How do I LOATHE AND DESPITE THE SICK FREAK YELU XIE???? UGH DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE POND SCUM! Who chains a little 8-yr-old to a carriage and then shoves it over a cliff so she'd be slowly dragged to her death as her brother watches. I mean - SICK DOES NOT EVEN BEGIN TO COVER IT. Yes, 5th Brother is super-strong and prevents the carriage from going over but no thanks to Yelu Xie! Ugh! (I have no idea if he'd have rescued her if 5th Brother couldn't, but the fact remains that anyone that can come up with this scenario with a little girl DESERVES TO BURN IN HELL FIRE, FOREVER!!!)
Sixth Brother is still my favorite character. I love it when he is serious - he can be quite scary.
In conclusion, have Seventh Brother. He is such a dim, dim, adorable puppy.
