I've slept on it and I am still as obsessed by Chuno.

Obsessed obsessed obsessed.

Funny thing though, even though I am going to be disowned by all the Jang Hyuk/Lee Da Hae flisters, and even though I think their chemistry is through the roof and I adore their tragic story not to mention Jang Hyuk is the hottest thing ever, I want Da Hae's Un Nyun end up with Oh Ji Ho's Tae Ha at the end. In part because I do not see how Jang Hyuk's Dae Gil isn't dying at the end of this drama. (But then, in a way, he died 10 years ago, in that fire - it's really only vengeance and love that are driving him on). But in part because I cannot ever see Dae Gil/Un Nyun of the present time working out at all. Yes, they were truly and irrevocably in love 10 years ago but that's the thing - Un Nyun was in love and is still in love with the memory of a kind boy who burned his books to warm up stones so her hands would not be cold and was horrified when he got blood on his hands. But Dae Gil now? This efficient, brutal killing machine who catches runaway slaves for a living and drags them back to their horrible masters who are going to do God-knows-what to them? How is it going to work? Can you see her happily sending him off to another day of slaving? When she is a runaway slave herself? (I don't think his occasional acts of kindness - rescuing those female slaves from abuse, e.g. - are going to be enough to compensate, in her eyes). Yeah. I do not see that.

Not to mention that Dae Gil wants to (justifiably) murder her loved older brother. That's going to work out super well. But then there is no way Dae Gil can be expected to give up his vendetta - if someone murders your whole family and does his best to kill you, it's pretty impossible to give up vengeance just because he's your girlfriend's brother.

So yeah. DOOMED.

So I think she should be with Tae Ha instead. He's kind and good and they can start fresh, no past between them. EXCEPT. He's a runaway slave trying to stop a conspiracy. Which means survival chances of about 0%.

Oh, darnit. They are all doomed. Un Nyun should just run away with Danny Ahn :P
