Am through ep 13 of Lawyers of Korea and it's yet another drama I totally have to eat crow about - I am madly madly madly MADLY in love with it.

Few brief points:

1. THE ELEVATOR SCENE OF AMAZING SHIPPINESS. It's one of the most romantic scenes ever and they don't even look at each other. GUH.

2. In love or not, Mingook and Woo bicker like nobody's business. I'd find it exhausting but it works for them.

3. Eggs. Ae Ri fangirls are throwing eggs at her and he starts yelling at the crowd to throw them at him instead. Which they do and he is so fiercely satisfied. I may have felt a little faint.

4. The law stuff in this makes no sense. If, as Woo said, the agreement Ae Ri signed with Momster is not valid as it's before marriage, than the prenup Ae Ri got with Mingook should be invalid either. Also - Mingook honey. You are a freaking fund manager! I don't care how sweet she looks crying and how in love you are, you don't just randomly sign a scribbled prenup she made. That's a way to lose some serious money!

5. The fight Mingook and Woo had when he left her in the marshes or whatever - I just loved that whole explosion and the aftermath - they are so very compatible.

6. Lawyer Byun, I love you and you are hot like burning and a very good guy but if you think any woman would take you back after you walked out on her, your live-in fiancee, with no explanation or warning 6 yrs ago other than a voicemail of "too boring here and you keep pestering me for wedding date, bye, find a nice guy have a nice life" then you need to have your head checked out. Pssssst, the whole 'I don't want to bury her under mountain of debt and sickly family' is a noble reason but maybe you should have actually - you know - let her make her own choices? Because there ain't no way you are ever getting her back now. Even if Mingook did not exist, she is never going to take you back. Not even if you explain.

7. I still like Ae Ri, who is pretty darn cool, but she has clearly decided to follow the crazy secondary girl's methods for getting back her man. Let's see, how does this plan for winning back an estranged husband sound - divorce him and then sue for a ginormous amount of alimony that could ruin him. Then once you get it, tell him your money-loving husband can have it back if the two of you get back together. Huh? Even if Mingook went for it, how functional would that relationship be? The relationship before the divorce would even be more functional.

8. The more I watch, the more I realize that Ae Ri and Mingook's marriage was doomed even without his interfering mother. They are too different - they would have never worked. The more I see of them, the more I realize how incompatible they are. By now I am of the way of thinking that it's not that Mingook was bad husband material but that he was bad husband material for Ae Ri. For another woman (Woo!!!) he'd make a good husband. And as for Ae Ri - she is better off with most anyone else because, in love or not, he is so not what she needs in a spouse.

In conclusion - AWESOME.
