I spent $50 on the Episode II poster "A jedi shall not know anger. Nor hatred. Nor love." I felt kinda foolish at the time but it's hanging up in my living room now and I'm glad I did. ;)
Oh, I want that poster. I think that AotC poster is beautiful. and I liked the movie too, which I know is somewhat of a minority position
My best friend used to have this TPM poster on her wall when I lived with her, even though neither of us was a huge SW nut at the time. And TPM is my least favorite of the SW movies, but that poster just slays me.
My husband is pretty tolerant (we have both FotR and TTT posters in the bedroom, though he refused to put up the giant Frodo Agonistes I bought for RotK), but we are running out of wall space. Still, something tells me the TPM poster is soon to be mine :)
I think the poster conveys the whole SW series so perfectly. Innocence foreshadowed by evil. Ahh, whoever came up with that idea is my new hero! ;)
P.S. I have two SW posters in my room, one's the "dark side" poster for Ep I, the other is the first conception of the OT, with a really whack Vader, Leia and Luke with weiiird lightsabers.
Yeah, basically the lightsabers in the picture look like they are made of magic dust or something. Or not-quite-solid gold...
There's no Han, the droids look about the same, but the stormtroopers and the Death Star look different. I have no idea where I got it from, because my brother bought it originally, but gave it to me once he found a better SW poster. I love his poster, it's all red and black and it has Dooku, Vader, the Emperor and Darth Maul, then it has pictures of the Obi/Darth battle, the Anakin/Dooku battle and the Luke/Vader fight, underlined with the words "Duel of the Sith". *drools*
I love this poster!!! I'd probably have it...if I didn't have the gorgeous (and rather large! hehe) poster from AOTC that says "A Jedi shall not know..." like kimbari. The colors on it are so gorgeous and it's Hayden and, well, 'nuff said! ;)
Awesome!
