I took 1463 caps of episodes 14-16 which is...rather insane. I did, however, narrow them down to 160. I had to leave a lot of awesome scenes out to do it, though.

When we left off, Jae Bin under a huge deal of stress and not knowing how to cope, told Sun Hee she is fired:

Not that it makes either of them feel any better!

Next morning she treats him coldly. That is what he asked for but I love that she looks as if she punched him.

Beating on Scumbag is always appreciated. I love that now she sees him as he really is, she has no regrets or weakness.

Also, not being one to dilly-dally, she moves out.

And he realizes she is gone and I love how he haunts her empty room. I was sniffling a bit. It's like she and everything associated with her is a place of refuge for him.

He tells Bro he is going to tell Hoon the truth and does:

Emotional wringer follows:

I really love the interactions between mother and daughter.

He spends the night in her empty rooms:

I love the advice Dong Hwa gives him - you have the power to fix things while he (DH) does not no matter how he wants it, so go do it.

In a scene that satisfied me so very much, insane SG tells Sun Hee the truth about Hoon (thus enabling SH to understand why Jae Bin has been like a man possessed, and ironically bring JB and SH closer) and asks Sun Hee to let go of Jae Bin to which Sun Hee tells Secondary Girl everything I have thought of her for the last 10 eps. So satisfying.

She comes home to find Jae Bin (who had assistants buy bags and bags of groceries for her and pretends they are a free give-away). He is outwardly confident but it's clear he is shaking in his boots that she won't take him back or freeze him out - he has nowhere else to go, emotionally, if not physically. But of course now that she knows why he was the way he was, she is not mad.

Ji Min tacked pics of him all over the place and his teasing (that Sun Hee likes to stare at him all the time) is hilarious:

How are they so adorable, how?

I love how during dinner Sun Hee knows just what to do to push Jae Bin and Hoon together.

And so quietly, and unspectacularly, but more wonderfully for all that, he tries to tell her the truth and she tells him she already knows.

Look at how happy they are!

Secondary Girl wants to expose the truth and he decides he should do so himself (I love how, while he might be kiddish in a lot of ways, when it matters he always does what's right). And he asks Sun Hee to come with him.

He thinks she won't and turns away but she takes his arm. I couldn't cap it because it was too fast, but I love that this fact, even when he is about to commit an equivalent to public suicide, can make him smile like a little kid.

So amazing.

And he discloses everything - his real age, the fact that Hoon is his son. That he wants to be with the woman he loves. Everything. I love that he is scared out of his mind and then looks at her and that gives him courage to proceed.

GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH

The fact that he can be so happy, even after all that's happened, just because he is with her, melts my heart.

I love that in the reveal about Jae Bin being Hoon's father, the bond between Hoon and Dong Hwa did not become any less.

I loved this scene of the brothers getting drunk - somehow it rather comes across as joyful despite all the stressful things that happened.

Jae Bin finds what Sun Hee wrote on the wall (19-yr-old Sun Hee wanted to be Dong Chul's first love and 39-yr-old Sun Hee wants to be Jae Bin's first love. AWWWW). I love how he lights up - I think if he has her he can cope with anything, which is why he is totally ignoring her scummy ex's threats.

My favorite scene in the drama. Scumbag told the reporters who Jae Bin's OTP is and they have descended in hordes and Sun Hee is hiding terrified and Jae Bin rushes in, heedless of cameras. There are no words for the awesomeness of the scene.

So happy!

The most adorable drama proposal in history. I especially love that he gives her all of his financial documents - it's just really emphasizing her as an equal partner and how serious he is about her, as opposed to Scumbag who used to keep her in the dark, and also to really show he can provide for her because she deserves security after the life she's had.

Not that he doesn't get goofy now and then :)

Such dorks!

This was such a fairy tale! But I hope they screened fangirls for concealed weapons :)

I already posted the wedding night here, but have a teeny bit for the flow :)

The hilarious bit when Hoon interrputs their morning canoodling.

Oh, why are they are so adorable, why? I love how Sun Hee is all 'stop grabbing me, the kids are at puberty and are sensitive' Heeeee.

Oh God. LOVE.

Jae Bin is such a dork - he drags the whole family on a bonding exercise. And when they are whiny, he's all 'if you don't bond, we are climbing a mountain next week.' LOVE.

Did I mention the part where Older Bro is set to have a great OTP of his own?

And we end with the whole family having ridiculous amounts of fun.

People are staring, heeee :) I bet it will appear as some sort of a photo 'article' in some tabloid :P

They are still using those walkie-talkies :)

And he left a love note in her lunch!

I think I nearly died - she looks up and he mouths "I love you" at her.

And he gets the kids to drag her into the game - he needs her steadiness and she needs his sense of fun. Perfect.

The end. I am ridiculously happy for them and ridiculously sad there is no more.

I guess not too much meta but hopefully compensated by caps.
