dangermousieI finally remembered I own With Fire and Sword, a Polish epic movie adaptation of one of my favorite novels (written by Henryk Sienkewitz).
I know what I will watch tomorrow.
How can I resist? Epic battles, true love, weird hats!

He is such a fictional crush of mine.
The other two main characters are the beautiful Polish noblewoman Helena, Jan's OTP, and Bohun, a Ukrainian Cossack - one of the anti-Polish leaders and a man madly in love with Helena. I confess to temporarily switching ships for the middle of the book and shipping Bohun/Helena like mad (not as much as one youtubber, apparently, who made a Bohun/Helena MV which implies Helena is a cheating slut for always sticking by her fiance instead of giving it up to Bohun).
Anyway, yay!
Oh, and because Bohun is my favorite character in the novel, here is a MV for him:
