How do I get rid of the super-annoying black bar at the top of the screen? It eats up space and drives me nuts.

Go to your info page and select manage from the blue bar at the top, then "Viewing Options". There should be two boxes that need to be unselected.

No idea, I got rid of if. But that icon! I don't think I want to be John, but I wouldn't mind being Bella :P

I turned my black bar to gray and I like it better that way. I think it is cool because it tells you some stuff and I don't have to go to the back button on my friends who have it. :D

Sorry it's annoying you, but gosh, I love that bar - it's the only way I can easily navigate my friends page via my many topical filters.

I guess I am the '1' in the '9 out of 10 users' schtick. I don't use filters for my friends page, otherwise it really would be helpful. And it squishes the space I am used to. But I know people love it :)
