Supernatural
Jul. 11th, 2006 06:24 pmSaw "Provenance" and "Dean Man's Blood." Provenance just cemented my Sam love. Because in that ep I was all about Sam. I loved Dean's sleazy pickups and his big brotherly attempts at getting Sam laid (heee) and the snark, but it was all about Sam. Who is afraid to get close to anyone because he thinks he will doom them. And who actually finds an uber cool girl, Sara (loved Dean's 'marry her' comment) who he likes but who he leaves because he is afraid for her. Plus, good kisser. I gotta say, Sara is going to remember Sam for a long time (and of course that story is left open ended, he might come back), because uber-hot guy+saved her life+dead girlfriend angst+afraid to be with her because she'll get hurt=katnip for any half normal girl.
Re: DMB. First off, vampires? Give me a break, this ain't Buffy. But what I did love was Dean standing up to his father AND disobeying orders, backing up Sam instead (OMG. How cool was that) and the argument that Sam and John had and the little quiet conversation, Sam almost in tears, both acknowledging how much in common they have. It's true, they aren't kids any more, and John should stop treating them merely as troops.

DMB is a weak episode, but I love the scene where Dean has to physically get in between John and Sam, because you know that this can't be unusual for Dean. He's the peacekeeper of the bunch and refereeing comes with it.

And the kissing was guuuuuh.
