FilmFest DC is showing Dil Se on Saturday. In the most beautiful theater in town. And I will be away. Argh. Argh. Argggggggh!

ETA: They are repeating it next week. Hooray! And I will be able to make it to Black this weekend. I will miss Dev and seeing Amitabh in the flesh, but it's still better than missing Dil Se on the big screen.

I am so jealous. Still haven't seen SRK a BW movie on a big screen.

How whacked is it that I am more excited about seeing Dil Se (my No.4 BW movie, i.e. I've already seen it) on the big screen than I would have been seeing Amitabh live?

I have no idea where you live, but if you go to www.nowrunning.com it has a good list of BW theaters in the US.

Yeah, that's a good site. I missed Black in NYC, but hopefully something else I want to see will come up.

I think I'd be more excited about seeing Dil Se too, but then I'm not much for seeing celebrities in person. It's often disappointing. But SRK shirtless on a big screen--guaranteed to please *g*.

Paheli is coming out in June :)

But SRK shirtless on a big screen

Not to mention angsting, doing Chaiya Chaiya, proclaiming love for Manisha. *hyperventilates*

I saw RL BW people during SRK's concert and it was a lot of fun: but that was because they were dancing and doing routines. When SRK came on stage, it was as if one was thrown back to the time of the Beatles.

*imdbs Paheli*

Ah, the one where SRK plays a ghost. Not a big part, right? But still worth the trip to the theater.

Wow, you were at an SRK concert? Was that a US tour? I am very envious.

He's the lead in Paheli and plays a double role (both the real husband and the ghost that takes on his shape). So there should be plenty of him.

Yeah, it was a US tour. It was amazing He really is just as charismatic in RL as he is on screen, with insane energy.

Black on screen today at 4:15 at the Walter Reade theater at Lincoln Center. If you're interested, anyway.

Work doth prevent it, sadly.

Don't be. We usually don't get anything here...

Dil Se is one of my favourite Bollywood movies.

I have yet to see Black, I am waiting for the good print to come out...I don't want to take my chances on a crappy version.

Yeah, Dil Se is excellent. Still packs a punch no matter how many times I've seen it.

Black is on DVD but I have no idea about the quality.
