"Hope your apple pie is freaking worth it!" Indeed. I love how Dean gets outraged when it's people who are the evil.

Scarecrow is my new fave. Both of the brothers are by themselves, but they keep missing each other. And neither is as effective without the other (I love Dean saying that Sam could turn on 'puppy dog eyes' and convince the couple of the danger. He really loves his brother and a bit puzzled by him). And Dean saying he is having a bad day. Indeed.

Meg=Sam? Huh. Sam is so normal, huh? But she prevented him from calling Dean. Boo. People warm up to Sam and not Dean, maybe because he is straightforward and unguarded except for the important things.

And OMG. They apologize to each other. And I love Dean on the phone to Sam, admitting he misses Sam without admitting it, and telling Sam he should do his own thing and wishing he could be like that too and it is hard for him to get it all out, but he can't really keep it in and he tells Sam he is proud of him OMG. And he looks so broken and cries almost. Wow. And he has this set desolate look on his face and so does Sam. Get back together, pronto!

And OMG SAM TO THE RESCUE YAY. And telling Dean in effect that he picks him over revenge, and that he won't ditch but stick by him. And Dean's deadpan reaction. Boy deflects emotions but good.

OMG MEG IS EVIL. STALKING SAM. No wonder she knew which buttons to push.

OMFG. Is she the Devil's daughter? OMFG.

Dean's comment about them being sacrificed is also hilarious. Under pressure Dean always maintains a sense of humor because it's just him.

I also love his "that's my boy". You get the impression that Sam really is Dean's boy in a lot of ways. Sam breaking down and stealing a car is funny and poignient at the same time. Being dishonest is like breathing for Dean, but it really takes an effort with Sam.

And Dean nearly admitting that he wishes he could be like Sam. That conversation is the first time Dean really drops his armor to Sam and it's why Sam is willing to go back to him. He apparently must have completely bitched Dean out to Meg though, since that conversation comes back to bite him when Meg runs into the two of them again and you feel for Dean. Again.
