So far I have learned that:
1. Being verbally grumpy to someone because you think he sold out your potential relationship with him for money equals torturing and raping the object of your 'affection.'
2. Guy A is a spoiled, violent person who has gangs of goons beat up defenseless poor people, has innocent people arrested and tortured (including the woman he professes to love) and concludes his shenanigans by raping the girl he is in love with. Guy B is a hard-working, intellectually brilliant person who helps old people, loves children, and fights for the rights of the poor. He doesn't hold any resentment towards his girlfriend for 'betraying' him under torture, and still loves her after she's been raped. Which one of the two is the 'bad guy?' Why, Guy B, of course.
3. Girl X and Guy Y are soulmates. Their love is true, strong, pure, and also something that is so awesome that the kdrama world hasn't seen it before. How do we know? They had one brief meeting in 12 episodes where he was impatient but kind, and she fantasized about his brother. But come on! You could feel the chemistry, the sparks, the poetry, the undying Romeo-and-Julietness of it all! If you couldn't, it's because you are deluded.
4. The shipping potential and awesomeness of the above Girl X and Guy Y trumps any potential Guy Y has with the other girl with whom he's had eps and eps. Don't you know, Girl X is played by a much more famous actress!
Corrolary: Guy B and Girl X should date. But then she should totally leave him and form an OTP with his brother even if she is fixated on Guy B. After all, the brother is played by a more famous actor.
5. "Subjective" is a curse-word.
6. If a girl has any sense or understanding of love, she will come to love her rapist. After all he is hot and angsts well. In any event, the only reason he had to resort to rape was because she was unnatural in her aversion. After all, there are scores of fangirl volunteers wishing he'd rape them instead.
