dangermousieSince I am still on a Nagase kick (whatever, leave me alone), I wanted to watch another Nagase drama (I cannot, in good conscience, claim that what I am doing with Love & Eros is drama-watching :P)
My choice? Ikebukuro West Gate Park. It promises me juvenile delinquents, gangs, beat-downs, serial killer rapists, and a cast that in addition to Nagase as the protagonist includes young Yamapi (alas, too young for me to drool over), Ken Watanabe (yes, indeed), Koyuki (heroine of Kimi Wa Petto), Sakaguchi Kenji (the hot goalie from Pride), and Tsumabuki Satoshi (Dororo!!!), among others. Mmm. Yes. Leave some hot people for the rest of Japan, IWGP!
The plot, apparently, revolves around Makoto (Nagase), whose gf gets murdered by a serial killer rapist and he is accused of the murder. The story starts out with him trying to figure out who killed her and apparently goes weirder and cooler from there.
