Battlestar Shippy Confession: Kara/Anders rocks my socks

All right, I'll confess. I like Kara/Anders. I started out being annoyed that they killed or delayed any putative Kara/Lee, but I like them now, on their own terms. Kara seems happy with him and vice-versa, they look good together and have nice chemistry. They just uncomplicatedly work on their own terms (shades of what Kara had with Zack, perhaps?) She promised to come back for him and did, and she is so giddy with him and she kept thinking about him and blah blah blah... andIalsothinktheylookhottogether.. Plus, matching tattoos are soooo Kara. I bet she'd be a girl after Weevil's heart.

Yes, if Kara/Lee happens, I'll squee with the rest of them (it will be so much more complicated but less relaxing than K/A), but for now I am happy with Kara/Anders, and if it stays that way? Also A-OK with me (as long as BSG deals with the Kara-Lee relationship, which doesn't have to be romantic to be interesting: they make such a fascinating close friends or family).

Anyway, the point is, anyone know of any good fic with Kara/Anders in it? Or K/A icons?

I like Kara Anders, I like them Better than Kara Lee. Sharon/Helo will always be my OTP ( I mean Militant Sharon/Helo fan here), but that dosn't mean I can't like other :)

You know, I always found Kara/Lee a bit creepy because of the dead brother thing, but I shipped it anyway because of the angst and the drama and the general screwed up ness.
If Anders wasn't so very hot I would be pissed at him, but you know, hot, so not minding the nice eyecandy. At all. Go Kara/Anders!

Yup, very very hot. I never thought K/L were incest, but it's kinda pointless for a canon whore like me to ship them because it looks like RDM will never get them together. So it's going to be another Clark/Lex for me. Ship I love in fic but have no expectations of happening on the show.

Anders is ok though... Hot... actually taller than her... As long as Kara remains an awesome ass kicker I'm cool with it. (I do think they're going to kill him off, though... Not "hope," just think...)

See, with V/L even in the lean times of early-mid VM S2, I never doubted that they were the end couple for RT. But I don't just get that vibe with RDM's attitude to K/L. There is clearly something there: her fantasizing about Lee, their kiss, almost frak etc. But I think with the whole Anders thing the K/L thing got sidetracked and I just don't see it going places. At the end of S1 I was so sure it would, too.

Plus, there is the changed stuff from Katee who used to say Kara'd be all about Lee to new Anders gushing etc. It just seems there is a shift.

I don't think Anders is going to last long. Happy is not a thing that works on BSG. I just don't really see K/L as certain any more.
