Thoughts on VM 2.09
Nov. 30th, 2005 09:59 pmI felt so much glee, even before the credits were over.
Love it.
Am I crazy, or were there shades of Cassidy/Mac? Yay. You've gotta be kidding me. They would so work (and hey, Mac could be an 09er she was supposed to be and Cassidy someone who isn't just dreadful around). Geek love is awesome! They can bond over odd hair and web page designs. And yeah, now that I've watched more of ep, definitely Cassidy/Mac. Woo-Hoo! I love this show. Also, Cassidy putting Kendall to work and growing a spine? Yay.
Weevil being jumped by Logan's posse and taped to the flagpole? Yay. He's certainly done it enough to other people. Let's hope he isn't too hairy, because? Ouch.
Babies? Heee.
Lianne and Jake=Logan and Lilly? Without the murder.
Trina. So hilariously, awfully over the top insinsere. Logan is to be commended for not stabbing her in her sleep when he was 13. But she does become more human by the end.
Kendall and Duncan? ROFL. Kendall is SO not Duncan's type and I love her indiscriminate jumping back and forth.
Plus, this show has the best double enendres: Kendall offering L/K/D threesome(sorta), the rode away hard/put away wet comment. And it's clear Logan thinks K is coming on to D and doesn't care, but is a bit disdainful.
And Kendall/Trina. So much love. So snarky and hilarious and bitchy and Logan totally having fun with this.
Duncan being unhelpful with the fake baby. Figures. And not telling about Celeste. Also figures.
So, Weevil/Logan OTP is back. With Weevil admitting he was wrong AND a fight between the boys that was a LONG time coming. Hell of a way to work out issues and I am sure they just did (and the slashers are happy again). And that one PCHer that talked about murder? Clue. Now Logan and Weevil can totally investigate again.
Trina is the prom baby! For a sec I thought she was Duncan's half sister. But hey, I wonder why, when V thought Trina was Celeste's kid she didn't even mention it to Logan before the tabloid thing. I mean, I know they aren't BFF, but it's courtesy.
I love the sneaky, clever VP, now Principal, Clemmons.
Meg is pregnant? That is no surprise. But, boy, if Duncan is the father, he better not to have known or he is SCUM.
Love it.

Date: 2005-12-01 03:42 am (UTC)Wait, why is Trina not his half sister? I only saw the first half of the episode.
My mom, sadly enough, called Meg's pregnancy. Looking back, the clues were there. Why am I always the last to find these things out?

Date: 2005-12-01 03:49 am (UTC)That and VP Clemmons being so Machiavellian were my favorite parts of the ep. And I'm so happy to see that Logan and Weevil are going to be reluctant allies now, after taking their dislike out on each other.
Duncan is so ... blech. Him not telling V that he hadn't told his mother about them is so typical. I just don't like him, and I don't think he's a good boyfriend.
Best line of the ep: "Rode Hard, meet Put Away Wet." Heeeeeee.

Date: 2005-12-02 03:28 am (UTC)I loved the snark between them, even if it was pandering, and yeah, Logan (or JD) was having such a good time in that scene, laughing at their snark. It's one of my pet peeves when people say funny things on shows, and the characters in the background don't laugh at them, so I liked that.

Yep. And if he did know, and Veronica stays with him, I'm going to be pissed.
Everyone loves Cassidy/Mac. They're both so adorably cute and I think they're both smart, in different ways. I think they could take over the world together.
I've always like Clemmons, but I loved him this episode. And I'm glad to see Moorehead gone-I wasn't crazy about the idea of a new principal last week. I should have known he was up to no good.
I need a Weevil/Logan icon. That fight was my favorite scene of the night.
