Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner" -- Veronica and Duncan discover that the still-comatose Meg had been babysitting an abused child, leading Veronica to take on an unfamiliar role as a babysitter to determine the kid's identity, on VERONICA MARS, Wednesday, Nov. 16 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. Steve Gomer directed the episode from a script written by John Enbom & Cathy Belben.
Meanwhile, Kendall (guest star Charisma Carpenter) continues her affair with Logan as her stepsons Dick and Cassidy learn the details of their trust fund. Later, Woody Goodman (guest star Steve Guttenberg) makes Keith another intriguing offer.
Well, all you hear from me on this is one long SQUUUUUUUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Because, if Veronica meets with the 911 caller, it means she is on Logan's case. Yay. *does flaily dance* Also, I like that Logan and Kendall are still together. It would be horrid if Logan dropped everything just because V crooked her little finger. They need to rebuild their relationship slowly, first as friends. But hopefully later with necking.
Also, Woody makes an offer. Do we learn about the guy's shady side, perhaps? He certainly seems hell-bent on getting Keith in his pocket.
And we meet the original Mrs. C. Yay. Bitchfight? Please?

Date: 2005-11-03 10:25 pm (UTC)Dude, you doubted? I'm pretty sure if Logan hadn't gotten arrested the night Veronica and Keith nearly burned to death, she would have been on his case during the summer. Of course, there was that whole "I'm normal. No, really, normal. Ignore the taser and the listening devices. See? Normal. Normal." phase she was going through. And the charges were dropped. But there's no way Veronica would leave Logan out to dry. Especially since she's obviously in love with him, even if she can't face the fact and, dammit! Now I'm reading spoilers. Urgh.
Would someone murder a bus full of kids to keep your babysitter from informing the police that you were abusing your kid? O_o
Also, I'm guessing the little girl with the black eyes in GEM wasn't the third Manning sister after all.

Date: 2005-11-03 10:34 pm (UTC)Well, I hoped, but I didn't want to be disappointed. I wasn't sure how far her "normal" phase was going to take her.
the night Veronica and Keith nearly burned to death
Yup. And that's enough to drive anyone into denial. No wonder she wanted safety (and yucky Duncan).

From your mouth to RT's ears :P

Sorry. Would you like me to set a filter so you won't see them? I can do that if you like (I know all about how hard it is to resist spoiler temptation. I tried.)

You know, that is something I didn't think about at all. Hmmmm. After all, we didn't meet Aaron last year until 6th ep. Hmmmm again.

Good catch! Interesting possibility.
