dangermousie | Thank You: eps 3 and 4

Here is picspam and summary for eps 3 and 4. My love for the protagonists grows and so does my desire to throttle the islanders, especially the useless local Doc, Scumbag and his Mom (who prove scumbagness is genetic).

We start with flashbacks of angst, in case we didn't get them the first time:

Scumbag is wondering what happened to his grouchy travelling companion.

Why, he is contemplating dating the woman you ditched but still seem to lust after. I wish. Not yet, give it a few eps.

Their love is so true, clearly!

Both the local doc and nuruse annoy me. Though to be fair, him I want to kill but her merely to maim.

Dr. Grouch has 'escaped' from the clinic and gravitated...where else...to Plucky Single Mom. Still with the teddybear. I hope someone washed it in between, it had blood all over it.

In his rude, inimitable way, he manages to ask if she has a room where he can stay and she says yes and she won't accept payment because he rescued Boram's Dad. Also, she won't take money for the bear because it's his already. (You see him look arrested):

Bom sneaks away the teddybear anyway:

'Crazy Grandpa, why did you give me random medicine?'
'Why, so you could faint sexily, my boy'

Various Scumbag related stuff which I don't want to cover in too much detail because he annoys me so.

He: 'this place is a mess, clean in that corner too.'
She: *grits teeth* 'Did you know there are mice in the ceiling?'
He: 'M-m-mice?'
She: 'Are you afraid of mice?'
He: 'No. N-n-no.'
She: 'Eeeee, a mouse!'
He: *jumps ten feet in the air*
She: LOL, just kidding.

He has insomnia and can't sleep no matter what:

She sees him. He asks if she has any beer, hoping alcohol would knock him out:

Home-made. LOL. Still no luck:

Meanwhile, YS won't accept any help from Scumbag (or admit it's his kid) but symbolically, Bom is too much for her to deal with alone. ~~She need shot grumpy Doc~~

He is still tormented by insomnia. But then YS starts singing lullaby to Bom...and he falls asleep effortlessly. EEEEE!

A bunch of people are outside because they heard about his saving of Boram's Dad and they all want to see them. He tells them where to get off. Seeing my loathing for the islanders, I cheer. Especially since I am not a morning person myself.

She thinks he is incredibly rude and lets him know in no uncertain terms.

So he stalks off. Run, run, you got nowhere to hide from otping, :P

LOL. Grandpa ends up stalking him, ordering him to go to the bathroom. Don't ask. I loled so hard I almost cried.

He kinda falls over and Dr. Grumpy actually helps! (With some hesitation :P) You are doomed to be a good guy, sorry.

And then is on his merry angsto-brooding way:

How Byronic:

Bom is bleeding and follows the procedures and Scumbag is clueless (later, he dares to preach to YS about how she should teach her kid properly. Die).

And Dr. Min sees it all and realizes that Bom is the child who was infected by Dead!Gal. Awesome.

I love the composition of the shots here:

This shot I like for a different reason. Less shallowly for a minute: I love that Dr. Min does the right thing generally, but I love even more that he is tempted not to and struggles against his better self, so to speak.

Fiancee of Scumbag, you are annoying. Kthnks bye.

This was both very sad and rather funny:

YS remembers finding out she was a bet for Scumbag.

Dr. Min tries to avoid his fate by staying in a motel.

Meanwhile, cuteness:

He can't sleep. And he misses Dead!Gal and he wants her to appear, to haunt him just once.

Hotelier thinks he knows just what the Doc needs. A hooker!

He couldn't be more bored and not interested if she was ninety.

He finally asks her to just sing a lullaby. Her reaction: "Oppa, oooh, you are a pervert!" LOL.

So he just kicks her out.

He ends up wandering the town and almost unconsciously his steps lead him to:

And he listens to the lullaby, this time sung by Bom, and falls asleep outside.

He is still there in the morning:

Discovery!

He tells Bom she can keep the bear if she doesn't fight with it. Methinks Bom has got a crush!

Yay! Foreshadowing :)

LOL. He is all 'I am going to be staying with you.' He becomes very human around them...and rather poutish, too, sometimes :P

Bom is making him honey water. LOL. But it's also sad how quickly she gloms onto a male figure in the house, even if she doesn't know him that well.

Between being grumpy, he casually drops a few words which help incompetent doc save Grandpa.

Drinking with Scumbag who wants him to help YS. Why don't you do it yourself? Scumbag is all blanchy when asked 'is she your woman?'

Watching her.

Shower. Finally. He was wandering in the same clothes for days, and fainted in them, and did surgery in them. He must smell like a sewer. Though seeing he had time to gel him hair, hopefully not. Also, Dead!Gal hallucinations ftw.
