Loved it. Much better than last week's.

Here are my thoughts:

Yay for continuity! We see Backup and Mandy the Dog Girl. I thought it was interesting that Mandy nommed Veronica for Homecoming. Basically all the havenots and outcasts V did favors for are returning the favor (reminds me of Buffy getting the Class Protector award in S3). And of course, how realistic that she didn't win. Also loved Duncan nommed. Good to see reminders of the fact that he really is popular and loved and Logan of the sharp tongue really isn't.

Jackie is officially a bitch. "Bye Veronica?" what the hell? Also, I realized she organized the credit card thing as a smackdown really early. She is also flirting with Logan (who is definitely flirting back. I wonder if it's because he knows V dislikes her? I also loved that Logan insulted V a bit but when Jackie did, he snapped at her that she wasn't nommed either. So Logan). And then both of them at the dance? Logan smashed and Jackie drugged? I did love her telling V to already pick who she wants because that's how I feel. For Veronica, I am sure part of it was protecting Wallace (who she did try to be a good friend to, and even gave up the tape plan, but for the girl the road to hell is paved with good intentions), and part because she really has feelings for Logan. Basically, neither of the two could have picked a partner who would have driven her mad more. Of course, Jackie loves hitting the pills. Big surprise. Is Logan hitting on her because of Mommy resemblance?

Jackie publically humiliating V with the psychic? Did I mention the "die bitch" part? Because bringing up Lilly and Logan (and my jaw just dropped, and I yelled "The Hell?" at the TV) is so below the belt when all V tried to do was help her and lowered her guard. And the cream thing? Hate hate hate the girl.

I loved Logan-Duncan interaction this week. They are rebuilding their friendship. And how much did I love that Duncan was the one to make the first move to mend fences. It's a really big thing for him (and of course the move was in his court, but still). JD and TD have really good chemistry and I never like Duncan more than when he is interacting with Logan. Though what's with the emancipated bit? Logan I'd buy, but why would Duncan be emancipated? I do like seeing Logan rebuild his life, somewhat.

You know, I actually really liked Duncan in this ep. I even thought D/V were cute together, when they were making out in his hotel room, and when he picked her up, and at the dance (and how did I love that RT did not show who won the Homecoming at all. So many other shows would, but it's not important here, so he doesn't). Duncan was sweet and funny and there was nice chemistry between them. He was acting like a real boy :P But once again, with Veronica's "brains/looks" convo, I get a very odd gender reversal vibe from them.

And yeah, Keith definitely likes Duncan. Just compare how he interacts with Duncan versus his interactions with Troy and Logan.

Also, Lamb is "the exterminator?" Heeee.

The thing with Wallace's Dad is shaping up interestingly. I am sure Alicia is right in what she thought but it's clearly not the whole truth. Also, Keith and Alicia implode. Makes sense. Wallace's little breakdown at Veronica has been a long time coming and it's not really that much about Jackie. I think his going with his father is way overreacting though.

And the explosion on the bus thing: the mystery thickens. I did like that Lamb seems to want to investigate it, and that Keith took the bug from his desk. Can I see an uneasy truce in their future?

First off: I know a lot of people have been saying that this season has been off to a slow start, but I'm loving it every bit as much as last season.

Wow. I totally missed that that was Logan. How slow am I?

She didn't say anything about Lilly and Logan. I know Jackie is a lying slut, but she admitted to everything else. When it went to commercial break, I kind of stared at the screen before completely spazzing out. And I mean spazz. out.

Duncan and Veronica were adorable. I especially love the whole stationary thing, and how he's just kind of accepts that she's "unique"

I love Lamb so very, very much.

The Wallace's dad storyline is so cliched, and I can see everything coming. That being said, I find it amazing that I'm still at the edge of my seat and completely loving it. Awww. I want Keith and Alicia back together.

The explosion thing I missed as well, the first time listening to it. I'm one of those viewers that needs the over abundance of explosition and Voice over.

Well, since I don't believe in psychics and neither does the show, and since it's clear Jackie knew about Logan and Lilly, I am sure it was the girl's idea. After all, it's not as if she'd knew she'd find out about the cream. God, I hate the bitch.

Oh, right. *reenters the realm of earth*. I believe in psychics (I would never go to one, but I think the concept is possible), and my brain is dead today, which probably contributed to me missing most of the significant points of the episode.
Oh, and I hate that bitch as well. Also, I don't just think that she is an awful person, I don't think she contributes anything to the show.

Oh, and another thing: I loved, loved, loved Logan and Duncan becoming friends again.

I loved it too. I'm back to actually liking V/D together, though this may be my cold affecting my brainwaves. ;)

I thought it was Corny who actually nominated Veronica? Mandy just chimed in to agree with him. Which, still great continuity to have him and Mandy standing up for her.

Last week I defended Jackie but tonight I wanted to strangle her. I saw the set up coming a mile away and I was dreading it though it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I'm not sure about the Logan/Lilly thing, though. For a minute, I thought Logan might be responsible for it from the way he was looking at Duncan as they were watching it. But, I don't get how he'd know what was going on unless Jackie told him so I figured I was just making connections that don't exist.

I know Veronica was trying to do the right thing at the dance but I actually yelled, "You better go after him, Veronica" after Duncan told her that W would be fine. That was the one moment when I didn't like Duncan in the episode.

And, I kinda didn't like Veronica's message at the end. It was still all about her and not Wallace. I was hoping she'd say she wants to know he's ok and not say that SHE can't lose another friend.

I can't believe we have two weeks now. Stupid re-runs!

I take it back. I just re-watched the Logan/Duncan scene and Logan looks just as surprised as Duncan in that moment.

Yes, the boy is messed up but nothing that we know of him would indicate him capable of that stunt. Not only was he nowhere near bonding stage with Jackie, both Lilly and Veronica are really sore topics for him...

Yeah, the Lilly/Logan mention was very low. That's really horrible of Jackie. She is a bitch, but I'm starting to like her in a "I love to hate her" kind of way.

I was amazed at how much Duncan didn't bother me this episode. It's weird. I'm not sure that I like feeling this way. I still think V/D is creepy as hell, but tonight they didn't disgust me. And I loved that Duncan and Logan made up with videogames. I think they all are just trying to get back to normal, so I expect the shit to hit the fan soon. And I can't wait.

Duncan being emancipated doesn't really make much sense. I know we won't see Jake due to the new hit show, but we could see Mommy Sneerest. She was so good at being bitchy and yet sometimes I had this weird sympathy for her.

I really want more Veronica/Logan interaction though. There hasn't been enough Logan in general this season.

I NEED more Veronica/Logan. It's beginning to bug me because I am becoming a bit indifferent to the ship which is crazy. I just need interactions to feed my obssession, dammit.

Yeah, I hate Jackie and that is so much fun.

And Duncan actually went to personality school for this ep. It was weird (but nice).

I thought it was great that Logan and Duncan are on speaking terms again. Duncan was actually kind of human again. :P
I do feel bad for Wallace, because if there's anyone who would know what he's going through, it's Veronica, and I'm glad he called her on how she wasn't there for him.
God, Jackie is the biggest bitch ever. Mocking the dead? So. Not. Cool. You just don't do that. How would Jackie even know about Lilly and Logan? She's only been at school a month, and Veronica didn't tell her anything. I guess it could just be school gossip, but it seems weird.

Re: Lilly/Logan. I am sure that is all over the tabloids, what with Aaron Echolls being the big movie star.

I am sure all the tabloids would be full of "Aaron Echolls charged with murder of Lilly Kane, his son's one-time girlfriend, found out by interpid Mars family." Also, I am sure tabloids would be all over the fact that Aaron's son is dating a chief witness against his Daddy. Plus, school gossip of course. Something this big, Jackie would know after a day or two, especially if she asked someone like Cora about V, let alone a month...
