I am pleased to note that even though Vladimir has been (temporarily) dispossed, he has still clearly managed to take away a giant portmanteau with some awesome clothes. Heh.

I am also wondering why, when everyone else is wearing hats, scarves, and warm coats, Michael is wandering around bareheaded and coatless. I keep getting distracted, wondering how he doesn't end up with a major case of frostbite. Anna, pick Vladimir: he has enough sense to get a warm coat and a scarf!

Oh, and Anna, I totally adore you. On the minus side of your life, you are now an escaped serf and thus being hunted. On the plus side, you are being hidden in a gypsy camp by two hot guys (well, one and a half hot guys. Michael is not as hot :P) Also on the plus side of the ledger for you (if not for me), you got to make out with Michael, until a gypsy interrupted (and Michael, I know what you mean, when you say 'thank God, we were about to make a horrible mistake' but it sounds horrid so you better explain or you will lose Anna).

And I love that she stops the boys from fighting (tiny girl bossing two tall guys at once? WIN), and also won't let them be the only ones to have fun of breaking into the bad guy's house to search for evidence of him being a killer. She insists on going along and is helpful and it's awesome. I love it when she says to them she is no one's property now and can do what she likes. EEEEE!

And AWWWWWWW. After is all, she goes to sleep in the gypsy caravan, and Vladimir ends up guarding her all night. Out in the cold. AWWWWWWWW. That's just neat. That is what I call an exceptional (former) employer :P

I have skipped all the stuff with Nicholas II and attempted money reform, thus showing my clear shallowness. I do love all the stuff with Alexander and his future wife when he tells her that of course he intends to have mistresses after marriage but he won't let anyone humiliate her and she can have favorites too. mmm. Alexander. I love you as a character but as a spouse, you would so suck. But they definitely started on Alexander/Natalie track, YES. Because he thinks she is his father's mistress and is deeply unhappy. YES.
