You know how sometimes there is that movie that you know is going to be bad and stupid and ridiculous and you still want to see it? Today's picspam is courtesy of one such: the Bollywood flick Fight Club. It has little in common with the American movie of the same name, as it involves boys fighting and then taking on the Mafia, all the while primping and dancing around trees. Does it have any merits? No idea. It certainly has one merit, at least: the pictures crack the hell out of me. And also, Zayed Khan and Suniel Shetty and Ashmit Patel are hot and are the only reason I am interested in checking it out.
Zayed is being cute in the Alps:

Suniel Shetty does anime style:

Zayed! I don't care if I am the sole Zayed fangirl ever. The boy is hot:

What is it, The Wild Wild West?

Or a Taiwanese soap?

The Hell? But Zayed looks hot:

Once again, anime style:

Woe:

Clothes? A. Expression? F.

Mmmmm:

Zayed color-coordinates:

Waxing is a GREAT idea:

"How dare you mock me? Hairy chests are a lady magnet!"

Umm, shower?

Gangsta!Suniel:

Fashion victims:

"I told you to wear white!"

"All the pretty boys and I ended up with the ugly one?"

Hotness is debatable, but the lack of dress isn't:

Bigger version:

Cute? Not really:

Odd angles do not artsiness make:

Date: 2006-05-25 01:07 am (UTC)But still it is awfully hard to resist a film that has totally abandoned shame like this one.

Date: 2006-05-25 01:15 am (UTC)Just looking at Zayed and Sunil would be enough to have me watch it in the first place anway
(i've stopped pretending not to be so shallow when it comes to such things)
That being said, i've had this movie in my posession for well over a month.. and i still haven't watched it.. Maybe i should do that tonight..

Date: 2006-05-25 04:50 am (UTC)that third pic is actually Dino, btw. Talking to his little sister ABOUT zayed.. if that counts :D
Okay, so at first it was awful. I couldn't bring myself to look at the screen during the club dance scene. Plus the color and style of the film did lack a certain vibrancy one comes to expect, though i suppose they were trying to make the look dulled down. They only had the fight club at the beginning (though it was brought up and woven into the rest of the plot, a bit) and then they moved on..and moved to dehli. Also in the beginning was overacting by Zayed & Dino especially (and another dude but that could be attributed to his character), and i dont like ever admitting that about anyone. and also i think they should have been cast in eachothers roles.. Everything seemed to get better once Sunil was in the picture. Both because the plot picked up a bit and everyone's acting miraculously improved and he's just flippin awesome (and extremely handsome). Its unfortunate to me that they didn't bother bringing any philosophy over form the H version, just the fighting club bit. even our version didn't have a barely-wearing-clothes cat fight though! i went :-o.
annnyway. It had enough pretty people (especially sunil (hense the mentioning him 80 times) cuz he had long hair and goode clothes and had a goode (but still a 'bad' guy kinda) character) to be worth a watch anyway. By the end It turned out to be a decent movie, but i was really worried there for a while.
But i'm all for permentantly outlawing bollymen from sexy dancing on beaches in half undone OVERALLS. Yikes. You can even see the horror in that picture you have.. it almost looks okay there, but it really, really wasn't. Ouch. In fact, all the songs were boring and I think it would have been better off as a not-musical.. and i dont think i've ever said that about anything before.
so yeah, i'm no goode at reviews, but there are my random thoughts. :)
