I got home late from work (which was OK, as I was taping the show), and as I turned VM on? Logan. Veronica. Alterna-prom. Logan apologizing for the summer with tears in his eyes. Veronica overwhelmed. Logan leaning in to kiss her. You should have heard the SCREAMING. Only equalled by screaming when she ran away.

And in the morning? Veronica finally chosing to trust and open up and be vulnerable (and how will she open up again now). And fucking Kendall being a BITCH. And the utter devastation on Logan's face as he realizes he could have had the one thing he wants most and now he can't. And Veronica with tears in her eyes. Fade to Black. I couldn't watch. I was peeking through fingers. Does every ep 20 have to end with utter devastation for my ship?

I can't stand it.

Why don't you dance on my heart with cleated boots, RT?

I haven't screamed like this at the credits since Farscape.

And she took the initiative that morning, she really did, and emotionally put herself out there all vulnerable, Miss Guarded Veronica. Whoa.

But yes. She cried. Did she ever cry over Duncan? (I honestly don't remember, but I don't think so. Crying over thinking he raped her is another matter).

But (I know, I keep using a lot of 'buts') the look on Logan's face when he sees her in the morning? I keep thinking about it. He probably dreamt of Veronica coming and saying all these things to him, for months. But it's now all a nightmare.

Argh. I want to go bawl. And if Aaron gets off (the previews seem to show it's a possibility) than it's back to Logan Hell. Argh.

True... I think I just saw the moment with Kendall coming and was focused on that so much that I didn't really think 'Wow, Veronica's crying over Logan'. It kills me though, because they were getting so close again.

I just am literaly too giddy to sit still. I was dead tired when I got home but now I am sort of running around the house. Good thing no one is here to see.

I wish I had all the season (and next season) on DVDs so I could pop in the next one already. This is like being a junkie in a withdrawal.

L/V are this show's golden ticket for me. When there isn't any, I enjoy it quite a lot. But I don't get rabid until they are involved.

OMG. I know. This episode blew me away. I'm like you-I enjoy the mysteries, I do. I love this show always, but the emotional heart of is the characters I love, which are Veronica, Logan, Keith, Wallace, not to mention the minor characters I love, like Mac and Beaver.

The V/L scenes were incredible tonight, although like you I watched through my hands at a couple of scenes. Too painful. I haven't shipped this hard in forever.

Still, that was a breakthrough for our girl. The angst is killing me, but I think it's a step. She can forgive him for this. The salt lick was worse, imo, and she forgave him for that.

I also screamed at the credits, cursing RT's name. ARGH.

The problem with slat lick v. this, the salt lick happened before they got involved. He was her open enemy at the time. But yeah, I believe it's not the end either, because from a dramatic point it would make no sense.

But the way he kept sneaking these intense quick looks at her thoughout the ep, including one when she came in to his penthouse for alternaprom, as if he was half-terrified she'd notice? Killed me dead.
