THE OUTSIDERS EPISODE 5 KILLED ME.
OMG OMG. He leaves her a letter and the picture of her as a child he has and she remembers him as the little boy who'd bow to her and she runs out of the airport to find him (did I mention he did come to the school even beaten up but missed her).
And she doesn't go to Vienna and she finds him on the track and OMG OMG OMG OMG the look on his face. And she publically declares her love and he can't resist and OMG OMG OMG hugging. And they go face her parents holding hands and he is so firm and grown-up, and the father (btw, I love that the parents are understandable. No wonder they freak up. Their delicate, unwordly daughter is taking up with a hoodlum) tries to slap Yu Yen and Ah Hao intercepts and is slapped instead.
And she is locked in her house, but she makes a rope and escapes. How Romeo and Juliet of them! And he gets a construction job to suport them but won't let her work because he wants to take care of her (seriously, he needs to know she isn't worse off with him than with his parents, that is why). And they set up housekeeping and there is shopping and decorating their house and OMG OMG they are not sleeping together. In fact, he hasn't even kissed her on the mouth, I think. He has a separate bed for her and he tucks her in at night and OMG OMG OMG. He really is in awe that someone like that is with him and doesn't want to sully it or do anything that might in any way push her (she is so going to make the first move there) and it's just so heartbreakingly young and innocent and incredible.
And she cooks him lunch and it's inedible (she used sugar istead of salt) but he loves it anyway and tells her as long as it's she who cooks for him, he'll eat anything. It's all so wonderful to him, I think, because it's the first time since his mother abandoned him that he has a family (his friends point out, it's the first time he is voluntarily staying in a house). OMG omG.
And his friends come over (btw, I really love how I can believe they've been friends for a long time) and such happiness. I know it can't last. And it doesn't. As he realizes she does miss her piano playing and he wants to get her one (because yeah, he wants to make it all perfect for her. Silly boy. As long as she is with you, it's all perfect for her). And he enters a bike race though he promised he wouldn't and OMG OMG the local gang lord just challenged him and Ah Hao took it up though he shouldn't and oh oh oh...it can't go anywhere good.
But the kissing on the forehead at night! *dies*
And here is pictorial evidence of the awesomeness:
My fave scene. Midway through the ep. In their new place, he is tucking her in:

Running away from the airport. She is touching his necklace:

Yu Yen finding Ah Hao at the track and confessing her love. She is fearless, when it comes to him, isn't she? I think it's the courage of someone who's never been hurt:

Excited about their new place:

Happy together:

On the balcony of their new place, blissfully happy. They are so incredibly young. And they really believe love is enough and oh, God. I just want to wrap them up and protect them:

OMG OMG OMG. Watching Ah Hao sleep. The look on her face!

Shopping together. *dies* I don't think I've ever seen either of them as happy as they are in these scenes:

She brought him lunch at work. It's inedible but he loves it anyway:

Yu Yen 'cooked' for them:

Having a party in their new place with Ah Hao's friends:

Ah Hao realizes she lost her ability to pursue the piano, by being with him:

Things are about to get derailed. After realizing she misses piano playing, he's decided to race in a dangerous race to get the money for it. But he is not telling her, but she realizes something is wrong:

Ah Hao waiting for Yu Yen's Dad to leave so he can have a meeting with Yu Yen:

Yu Yen looking gorgeous:

Waiting for Ah Hao at the school:

Yu Yen tucking in sleeping Ah Hao after the party. *dies*

Something tells me this is Ah Hao's future boss. Oh no:

Beautiful Yu Yen:

Earlier in the episode, preparing to/facing Yu Yen's parents:
(hands!!!!)

(Ah Hao just got hit by Yu Yen's Dad):

The paper present Ah Hao left Yu Yen earlier in the ep when she was leaving the country for good:

Yu Yen's parents. I really do think they have the right point about love not being enough, but of course Yu Yen and Ah Hao are right too:

Ah Hao telling Yu Yen he got a job to support them:

Little Ah Hao and Yu Yen. He is bowing to her. *eeee*:

Yu Yen reading Ah Hao's letter in the beginning of the ep (it makes her run after him, so YAY):

Ah Hao coming back home after confrontation with Yu Yen's parents but before they move in together:

A lot of shots of Danzi looking hot:

Waiting:

Even beaten up, he is still trying to make it to meet Yu Yen, at the beginning of the ep:

Sooooo shoujo:

Ah Qi being adorable:

Ah Hao looking gorgeous:

The guys playing around as Yu Yen watches:

Early on in the ep, level-headed Danzi warns Ah Hao nothing good can come of it all (the rest of the ep is happy but the previews seem to indicate Ah Hao should have listened):
