Somebody's take on Logan

I don't normally just quote other people's views as a post, but when something that expresses what I think perfectly, comes up, well? Needs must.

This is from a post by "sophronia" on TWOP re: Logan. I just thought that was encapsulating his character too well not to quote:

The abuse started when he was a child, so he would have had no way to retaliate other than to take the pain and come right back for more. Now the odds are greater, but he's still fighting the same way. Logan sees his entire life as a battle in which he's always overpowered and outnumbered and it's just himself and his friends against the world. That's why his almost fanatical obsession with loyalty and trust. He's got a bit of the Lost Cause complex, only the lost cause he's fighting for is himself. It can make him seem like a real romantic, principled hero -- but it can also make him a reckless, stubborn asshole with severe suicidal tendencies.

Add in supreme snarkiness and is it any wonder I crush on the boy?

That's Logan in a nutshell. Nice quote-I don't recognize that name from TWOP. He's such a fascinating character. It's no wonder at all that you crush on him. I'm right there with you and femmenerd
