Saw The Host with

smartylibrarian yesterday. Very off-kilter, funny, scary and good. Though they killed the daughter, the one everyone was trying to rescue, at the end! And she was awesome, too. It's one of the few buttons I have: I cannot bear to see children harmed, so when she (and earlier, the little kid's older brother) died, I just...it's makes me depressed even today. Though I suppose since it's a Korean movie, I should just be happy there was anyone left alive at the end.

Oh, and Gong-Chan's grandpa from My Girl was in it and he bought it but I liked him here...

Also, because my Goong fever is always there, I've been watching Goong 1.5 (the special they did with interviews at some TV show and behind the scenes filming stuff) and it's AWESOME. I also think I now have a thing for JJH (like I didn't before :D)

And this is a nice lead-in into the visual portion of the post a.k.a. youtube is my friend. I found a trailer for The Devil and also bits from press conference subbed in English. Mmmm...JJH.
