Everything under the Sun. Tropical sun.

Yes, still at the beach. I love the dry air and the giant cacti and the winding hilly roads with goats lazily wandering across and a myriad of birds flying overhead. And the brightly painted houses with thick slanting walls, and the blueness of the ocean from the cliff, and the cloudy sunsets.
But this is not why I have an LJ, so here continues my chronicle of watching.
I found a preview for ep 13 of Snow Queen on youtube and OMG! OMG! Tae-Woong's overachieving friend, the one who killed himself because he was an idiot, is actually Bo Ra's beloved brother?????? And she blames the 'brother's friend' (who she doesn't know is TW) for the brother's death? OMG. The look on Hyun Bin's face when she tells him that! This really is ALtKish.
I have also been continuing with my Farscape rewatch.
That first shot of D, John and Zhaan approaching the Orican's abode made me think of the Wizard of Oz (with who being the Tin Man and who being Dorothy, I'll leave the others to determine). And just like WoZ, Orican is not what she seems.
This is not the greatest ep, but it is important in a very crucial fashion: the appearance of John's long leather coat. Whoa. :)
And of course, he continues his over-reacting, acting 'off' in this ep too. John is paradoid of losing his small family, scared of loss, and of course the events, unfortunately, generally seem to bear out his paranoia of distrust against anyone 'other.' Can his over-agression, over in-your-face be a continuing PTSD reaction to his helplessness and his torture at Scorpius' hands? You bet.
Also, this is where I first noticed Chiana liking D'Argo, and little mundane things like washing. Oh, and yeah, John now is inseparable from his gun.
I am also four episodes into Samurai Champloo which continues to be excellent. I confess Mugen freaks me out, with the 'fun' violence, but he is an interesting character (who is certainly having fun) and I like Fuu and adore Jin (who seems to make a habit of rescuing people from brothels? Yeah, yeah, I know I am not supposed to have seen the later ep yet).
I have also finished six episodes of Magicians of Love and it continues to be awesome. I really like that Yasi and Xiao Bei seem to be getting genuinely good friends first, before all the heavy necking or what not. They get to know each other and their misconceptions fly away. I love that Xiao Bei admits that she now prefers him to his 'brother,' after getting to know him, and actually defends him to his grandmother. I really can't wait until poor Yasi's house of cards will fall down and grandma and Xiao Bei will find out there is no Yayun, as he and Mother died a couple of years back. Ouch. Well, Yasi is clearly falling apart as a result of doing such an odd charade, so it's probably for the best (the look on his face as XB unwittingly hits on it by saying he can pretend to be his twin with a different demeanor and clothes). And I love it when he ruffles her hair. Eeeeee! And he finally decided to give up on his awful ex (who ditched him for 3 years!) not knowing she just came back. And XB basically summed him up to his face, as someone nice who builds walls in order to keep from being hurt (a sheep in wolf's clothing) and they had fun and now Richie likes her too and she thinks she likes Richie, who is liked by Kelan (who should stop with the cooking) which has Fernando pissed off and eeeeee....getting good!
And in conclusion, youtube is your friend. Why? I have been a bad girl, watching Hana Kimi RAWs. And I bring you my fave scene so far, Quan rescing Rui Xi from annoying guy's attempted rape and her being all feverishand unconscious and there being kissing. (Trust me to pick the angsty scene in a near angst-free manga).
