dangermousieEbay is wonderful (You can find the oddest things there. This is how I got my hands on a Russian dubbed version of a 1970s French mini based on Countess de Monsoreau which I saw as a kid) but sometimes it's evil. I ended up bidding on something which I later found elsewhere for much cheaper. Luckily, I just checked the bidding stats and I've been outbid. Yay. Saved.
Has anyone else been seeing all the CW posters, pushing its shows, green and white posters with face of lead(s) in the middle with a "Free to be ____" slogans. I keep wondering why VM's is "free to be fearless." True, Veronica is no timid mouse, but fearless? Screaming i the fridge? Freaking out in the Fitzpatrick bar? On the roof in NP? She is a brave girl, true. But fearless? I think not. Odd. But the photo is adorable so who cares (I was also amused to notice that someone drew glasses, beard and mustache on Tom Welling's face in the ad for Smallville).
Btw, is "Devil Wears Prada" worth watching? I've heard good things about it, but with my preference for angst and prominent male characters, this flick seems like the anti-me. Hmmmm.
