Careful, those drugs are bad for you?
Feb. 13th, 2006 09:12 pmOK, the creators of Fushigi Yuugi OVAs were smoking crack, and not the good kind, if the summaries are any indication. Mmmm, Tamahome splits into two, with one being a reincarnation who had to give up his memories and is called Taka (making me think of a TexMex restaurant) and the other being his memories which somehow end up being recieved by another person, some kind of an evil demon named Yousui? And they fight? And then the memories and Taka merge into one person at the end? Kill me now. Good thing I am not watching this. What next, Miaka and Tamahome menaced by a giant, man-eating badger?
Not to mention that poor OVA Tamahome must have been hanging out with OVA Hitomi and gone all emo. Ugh. Though to be fair, I'd be emo depressive too, if my unkind parents named me Taka in this incarnation.
Though I do have to say, I forgive the crack-addicts a lot, after finding out that at the end of the third OVA, the OTP has a child and HEA, but most importantly, Hotohori somehow, improbably, comes back to life and is reunited with his son and his wife. And he will be happy with them and not lonely any more. It sounds utterly stupid and ridiculous, ergo not watching, but am glad to find out about it nontheless.
