dangermousieThese are some rather scattered thoughts on Veronica Mars spoilers for 2.6-2.8. Of course, these spoilers may be completely wrong in which case, oh well...
Anyway, don't go behind the cut unless you are a spoiler slut like me.
OK, Logan getting rearrested for Felix's murder because of a new witness and being let out on bail? So makes sense. *loves Rob Thomas* I knew they weren't going to drop the whole thing and limit it to the first 10 minutes of the premiere. Because otherwise, why do it at all? And after all, if no one is charged, no one has any impetus to find out what really happened and why. And of course, since Logan did not get tried, they can obviously bring him back. I do wonder about the "new witness." Awfully convenient. I wonder if it's the "Good Samaritan." I wonder who did Felix in and why. I also love the fact that it could be Logan. Unlikely, but I love the fact that you are never entirely sure, with this show.
Of course, that also means Logan continues to have the year from hell and if Logan and Veronica get back together (please, please, please TPTB), Keith is going to be even more happy. His father had tried to kill him and his little girl. Logan himself is violent toward electric appliances. And now he is charged with murder? Yup, definitely the guy you want your baby to hook up with. Oh, and your daughter thinks the cute boy she dated is innocent. That's going to make you feel so much better. Not. Heeeeee.
Also, Duncan is dreaming of Meg. That boy always seems to live in the past. Last year he was all about Veronica missage. The guy really does prefer exes. Not that I am complaining. I am all for Duncan rediscovering the wonderfulness that is Meg. If he decides to rediscover it far far away from Neptune, I'd be even happier, but you can't have everything.
Oh, and Logan and Veronica working together on a case? The high-pitched noise you hear is me squeeing. Because I don't mind them not necking in closets, but the thought that by 2.8 they have gotten past their stuff enough to be able to work together is just...guuuuuh. Heck, the thought that they have scenes together? Guuuuh again. Logan fits in with Veronica the PI. Yay. And the whole "he rescues her" thing? My shippy heart just had a shippy heart attack. SQUEE. Also, since she helped him out so much last year, it's only fair he returns the favor. But the whole "Logan has a gun" thing makes me nervous. Because normally, fictional boys+guns=hot, but I doubt he has a permit and he is already charged with murder so he could get into so much trouble. And even worse, by dramatic law, I doubt a gun is just there for no particular reason and that makes me very very nervous.

Also, Logan has an ankle monitor? I guess because of the Felix charges? Is it wrong that I think it's hot? OK, I am officially insane. I have no idea how these things work? Does it have a video camera in it (hopefully not, talk about no privacy :P), locator beacon? What?
