This is still incoherent as heck, but at least I can do more than have palpitations.

There are SPOILERS behind the cut. Trust me when I say, spoiler slut that I am, that if you haven't seen the movie, STAY AWAY from them.

Wash!!! Wash!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it: one minute laughing, the other dead. No. I am numb. No!! Joss Whedon, you brilliant, bloody bastard! I was bawling. For some reason, Kaylee's confused "Where's Wash?" got me even more than Zoe's "get up baby." I am actually crying as I type. Dammit. When Book died, I was sad, but he was old and lived a full life and I thought he was going to be the death and I felt safe. Then...Wash!!!

River. Simon and River is still the most touching, most amazing sibling relationship ever. He is so tender with her, my heart just breaks. And when she goes for his throat...whoa.

The fact how every potentially corny moment is undercut with a joke, even the panel flying off at the end. Joss, I love you.

Mal's fight with The Operative. And how he is beaten up like hell and just keeps going out of sheer stubborness. He's lost so much before, that even with all this grief and horror, he can fall apart inside but he can go on. Serenity Valley taught him that. If that didn't break him, nothing will.

Simon is shot. I freeze. And when he lies there and basically says he doesn't want to die...I am bawling at this point and my heart is in my throat and I am praying to whatever deities (or imps) control Joss. And then River says that he's always taken care of her and now she is going to take care of him. *wibble*

Does anyone else think that Book used to be the same thing that The Operative hunting them was, until he didn't want to be it any more?

Mal. Mal Mal Mal Mal MAL. Mal's face after The Operative contacts him and tells him it's his fault TO had to kill all these people. And his decision to make their ship look Reaver. Mal, Mal, Mal. Beautiful, snarky, falling apart and dying inside and full of grief and anger and decency Mal. Mal.

Simon/Kaylee engine room sex. I am dead. Dead, dead, dead, dead, dead. And his confession to her. Meltiness is beyond required. And then of course it being Joss there is the completely natural and hilarious reaction from Kaylee. There is no false mush here.

Mal and Zoe at the end. So much unspoken (Wash!!!!) and so in character and so right for them. Oh Zoe...cries.

Wash's dinosaurs are still on his comsole. I think I am going to cry again. Oh God.

Mal/Inara. *dies again* And he misses her and looks at the holovid of her in private. And she calls him and though it's obviously a trap they just can't hide how much they want and miss each other. "Kaylee misses you." Oh Mal, you stubborn darling! And he knows it's a trap and he goes anyway, to rescue her.

Mal shooting that man who begged to be taken along. And his self-disgust.

Simon punching Mal. Love. So much love. Also "it's OK to leave them to die." Snarky Simon, I adore you.

Mal in drag. Hooker drag. Joss, I love you.

Operative: "I am unarmed." Mal shoots. I love.

Jayne bringing up Serenity Valley to Mal. Oh. My. God. Jayne, you stupid man, you just don't realize how close you came to being literally torn to pieces.

Inara saving the day and Mal and back on Serenity again. *squee* And I don't care there was no kissing because there was so much EYE FUCKING. God, the room sizzles when those two are even in a room together.

Reavers. They are so fucking SCARY. Nightmare time.

Everyone on 20ft screen. Heaven.

Mal telling Inara that she complicates things.

Kaylee discussing ahem.."batteries"

Inara painting Serenity sign back on.

The mystery of the reavers. Makes so much sense.

Mr. Universe with his wife. I have no words.

How awesome is that that you know it's just killing Mal to deface Serenity like that, even though no one says a word.

Mal/Inara at the end. Where he tells her he can drop her off at the sanctuary within a day and she hestitates and he asks if she doesn't want to and she says she doesn't know and this amazing look on his face and he goes "Good Answer" and there is this intense staring during the whole sequence and the chemistry is making stuff combust and there is all this hope and new beginning and maybe these two very stubborn people are finally ready to let their guard down (someone in the audience: "Have sex already!" LOL).

So much more. Every moment, really.
