dangermousieI keep thinking of of Palpatine at the end of ROTS at Mustafar. He is quite tender with Anakin on that sand. It's not just the flunkie down, but he cares for him. The bizarre thing is, Palpy loves having an apprentice and he cares for them. But it's as if there is a switch in his head (he is a sociopath, after all). He will care for them when he views them as an apprentice but when he sees someone better, he automatically downgrades them to a flunkie and not worthy of consideration and begins to view the other person as apprentice. When he found Luke, he automatically switched Vader into flunkie mode. How bizarre.
Also, Palpatine has fun being Sithly and evil. Not Vader. Vader is having a bad hair day that lasts 20+ years. He will force-choke someone or torture them or whatever, but he never has any joy in it. Or in anything else, for that matter.
I guess that is understandable. After a huge temper explosion you often feel nothing because there is nothing left, everything is wiped out. And that is how he is, especially since his anger was futile (after Padme's death).
Oh, and here's why Bollywood is my joy. Look at the BIZARRE outfits that make my eyes bleed (from an award show cum concert earlier this month) behind the cut. Even if you have never heard of Bollywood, you simply must check out these "fashions:"
Where do I start? The pleather pants? The blinding bling? The shortage of shaving implements? Abhishek Bachchan (surely he can afford a better get-up) and Aishwaria Rai:
Needs no words (Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwaria Rai). But still I have two: do "age" and "inappropriate" mean anything? Also, the suit really sticks out :P
Someone bit a chunk out of your dress, dearie? Fardeen Khan and fiancee. Surely he could afford to buy her a whole dress?
OK, firstly this is the macho icon Salman Khan wearing a shirt like my Mum's. But more importantly, what on earth is the girl wearing?
Hrithik Roshan, winning "style icon." In a parallel universe, perhaps. *sigh* I remember when you were hot. Note to Hrithik: mullets are NOT back in fashion, and this hair makes you look even more like a chipmunk:
