dangermousieThe whole story is so sad and such a waste of all that Jedi, of all of Anakin's vast talent. But since Palpatine entered his life, the only purely good thing (outcome wise) he did was kill him. The enormity of such failure of such promise...
And the seduction? I am in the middle of it right now and it makes such perfect sense: when you combine Anakin's personality and his particular buttons + his dreams + PTSD which he has after all this combat + the fact that this is happenning so fast + lack of Obi-Wan + the fact that he hadn't slept in ages, which always makes you stupider...when you add in Palpatine, the kid has no chance. But the gradual distancing from Padme, as a result of his desire to protect her...argh...
