Sin City: It's a sin to be this bad

Saw it on Sunday. Loathed it. Haven't hated a movie this much in years: violence is OK, so is nudity. But violence and nudity without any point: ugh. The visuals are neat for about 5 minutes, but not enough to make up for two hours of boredom. On the plus side, unlike in Sky Captain, another entirely-CGI sets extravaganza, the actors here all act very well.

Oh, and I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Elijah Wood in anything else again. Well, not really, but talk about anti-Frodo. Eeeek!
